Hotel under a remodel.

I have been doing maintenance in nursing homes, hospital and apartments for over 30 years. Upon arrival, building is in need of an update. Entrance and reception areas were nice, clean. To their credit, there are pages on the walls throughout stating that they are in the middle of a remodel. The hostess at the registration was friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage patties, waffle maker and all the other stuff. The room was partially remodeled with new laminate flooring. Room was clean. The ceiling tiles in the bathroom (yes, ceiling tile. rest of the room was popcorn texturing), some of them were not sitting correctly and open to the second floor. Toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. Room had some drywall patches. The refrigerator was on the warmest setting, had to wait for it to cool down. TV was set to surround sound (which there is none) and you could not hear the voice, so you turn it up and then when the music plays in the movies, it was so loud. I fixed that and I am sure my neighbor was happy. AC worked well but is in a need of a diffuser, to point it up. It blows at the bed. Every 1 of the ice makers were out of order. Not sure what was going on there, you had to go to the attached bar to get ice. Vending machines did not have product in them so one would assume that they do not work. They did have a small selection at registration to purchase. Hot tub was not working Pool area was huge and very nice.

Made a reservation and pre paid for a king room. When we arrived they said the room we reserved wasn’t available so they gave us a double queen room. Reservation should reserve the room so it isn’t available to sell again!! Hall door didn’t work so had to use pool side door which didn’t lock. Housekeeper walked in on us in the morning because they thought we already left (you should still knock). And sweep the floor in the rooms!!

The room was clean and comfortable. The pool area was very nice. However, there is no elevator and it needs some upgrading. You can tell they are working on it and maybe with time, it will be very nice. I would stay there again but its not a full out entertainment place.

I arrived 25 mins after the 4 pm check in time, to be told they were having problems with the cleaning staff and would have to check my room before they checked me in. The manager said she would check it herself, so i waited another 20 mins, and when she came back she said she had gotten the room ready herself, and told me to park out back and come in the back door, so i did, but i found the back security door inoperative, and open, and when i went in to find my room on the second floor i found that they have no elevator, and my daughter has a disability and can't climb that many stairs. The manager never offered to put me in a ground level room, and said i would need to call expedia to canx my reservation, and that as soon as they got the call from expedia they would process my refund, but it has now been 5 days with no refund.

The room was not clean and it smelled like someone had just used the bathroom the property itself needs updating there was no washcloths. The towels are so small you have to use 2 to dry off and can’t even wrap one one around yourself ( I have a 32 in waist ) the pillows are the size of a throw pillow had 2 remotes for the single tv and neither of them work the chair was quite stained there was also dog crsp on the floor of the main hall upon check in and was still there when I checked out

The worst place I have stayed in over 30 years

I slept at this hotel for three nights and for two consecutive days they didn't clean up my room. I had two sleep for two nights on dirty sheets with dirty towels all over the floor, and I paid $200 for this horrible service. When I complaint they said, at the front desk, that is not their responsibility to clean up the rooms and I had to reach out to you if I wanted my money back. I heard that other guests had the same problems. I strongly suggest you remove this structure from your list, this people should not stay in business. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
