Fun stay in the countryside

We really enjoyed our stay at the BauerGarden. The cabin we had was very nice, with two rooms for for of us. Everything worked well in the unit. We made a nice dinner in the little kitchen with our unit. There is a small grocery store about 5km away with a nice selection of things to cook. Eating on our porch was very nice. Two of the beds were very comfortable, but others had a very thin mattress and were a bit hard. These were not as nice to sleep on. The rest of the bedding was great, and one adult and one child loved the beds. There was also a nice sauna which we got to use with a quick dip in the lake. It was very clean and nice. The breakfast was fantastic. When leaving, we wished we had time to stay another day.

Great service, lovely surroundings

Very helpful staff that enabled our stay even though Expedia had made an error - "you should not suffer for their mistake", great customer mindset. And they continued to be very helpful with us being parents to a 2-year old i.e. plenty of odd requests. Also pleasant room #34 with a small patio. Great dinner (shrimp sandwich) and breakfast. Close to the lake with a beach especially good for kids. Definitely recommended, will come back if given the opportunity and will then also explore the surrounding nature which we didn't have time for now unfortunately.

When you crave peace and quiet

Great service, good food. Philippe Starck chairs with live cows as a backdrop, whats not too like? Super quiet countryside getaway. Well worth a visit.

Nice place

Really nice hotel with good facilities. Very quiet area with a lake, sauna, canoes, etc. Good enough restaurant, the service was a little slow. Would recommend.

Firade svÀrfars dag, sÀllskap pÄ 15 personer. Rummet var klart ett par timmar före normal check in, underbart nÀr man rest en bit, vÀldigt rent och fint rum, Delux hette de matchade med namnet! KylskÄp, tyvÀrr ingen kaffebryggare pÄ rummet, inget badkar men de börjar bli vÀldigt ovanliga pÄ hotell idag, vÀldigt bra sÀng, fluffiga tÀcken och tvÄ kuddar per sida. Vi kommer Äter med nÄgra Ärs mellanrum, sÄ vi ses igen! Men i en recension bör allt tas upp.. PÄskmeny var bokad Ät oss, dÀr har ni lite att jobba med. I princip alla i restaurangen Ät denna, vÄrt bord hade otroligt olika portioner, nÄgon med en köttslant, alla andra ned tvÄ, och stekgrad pÄ köttet, de skilde otroligt mkt, allt frÄn riktigt rare till grÄtt.. Jag kvinna normal till mindre i maten, blev faktiskt inte mÀtt, inte heller nÄgon av de 12 karlarna i sÀllskapet, 3rÀtters till trots. Servicen har lite att jobba pÄ, vi fick ingen frÄga om mer dricka och satt lÀnge och sökte kontakt, önskade salt fick vi gÄ och sno frÄn bord bredvid. Men Àn vÀrre kaffe fanns tydligen att tillgÄ runt hörnet, sÄ det sÄg vi icke, de kunde vÀl nÄgon ha sagt, dessert utan kaffe Àr ju bara halvt rÀtt.. Vi bad om mer dricka nÀr vattenkarafferna fylldes pÄ men den killen sa be nÄgon annan. SÄ ett glas till 3 rÀtters mÄltid, dÀr gick ni bet om en bra slant. Men boendet utmÀrkt, middagen lÄngt ifrÄn bra
