We absolutely love this property. There’s so much to do and such a wonderful vibe. The only thing that was at all something it could be improved was that there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. this seems like sort of an important item.

Cute motel. There is a pool, if interested. Basic room, but has a cassette radio - with some cassettes if interested. Very unhappy with bedding. You get a fitted sheet on the mattress, the a comforter in a duvet to be on top. It is too hot for summer, and too cold to sleep without it on. A separate flat sheet for customers would be nice. If going in the summer, you may want to bring a flat sheet from home.

A+ for eclectic feel and charm AC unit was loud kicking on and off all night Recommend replacing with significantly quieter unit Hard to get rid of the train though Very nice bar and service but I understand the physical limits of 1970s architecture A+ bed and pillows:))

Ac not working properly. Keep turning on and off like in 5 to 8 mins all thru the night. First night was like a meat cooler.so cold. Turn it up to 86 and low fan which never changed the fan speed. Told the deck at checkout. Also trains moving all night long. Would not stay there again. Looked so good online but disappointing.

The lobby and design of the motel was adorable. The beds and linens exceptionally comfy. I like to keep the room tidy, but the trash cans were so small, you couldn’t throw anything away in them. The ice machine was difficult to find, the only thing not on their cute custom map. Can you also label the bath wash, shampoo and conditioner in a larger font? Most people who were glasses don’t wear them in the shower.

Family favorite in Flag

HCML is our favorite place to stay in Flagstaff. My little people love the pool, game room, and fireside outdoor seating. I love the mid-century magic and that our pup is welcome. I recommend HCML to anyone visiting Flag who is looking for a boutique experience without a crazy price tag.

Beautiful place!

Such a treat to stay here! The room was clean. Beds very comfortable. Lobby is beautiful. Had great cocktails at the bar. Was lovely to sit by the fire pits in the evening. We used the private sauna for an additional charge. Worth it.

Yes, it has been recently renovated. The grounds are nice and family friendly. Inside of lobby is really nice & employees are super nice. The room we had was really bad! It was painted a dark green, ceilings in bath area were also painted the dark green, doors were dark blue, & trim was black. The ceiling over beds looked like it would fall down, no counters except for small one in bathroom, and there was very little lighting. Like staying in a cave.

So fun

We stayed two night to visit the Grand Canyon. HCML is a trendy fun place with a busy lobby and patio area. The room was clean and quiet, they provided everything we needed. There is a nice bar in the lobby. Parking was room side and plentiful. Definitely recommend.
