It was ok, in dire need of some updates. The staff was great in that they were able to move us to a down stairs location, but the bed was horrible in that the mattress was old and lumpy and had a valley in the middle. The set up was strange in that if you wanted to watch the television you needed to move furniture to be able to view it. The cabinets door on the bathroom vanity was broken. Also there was someone in the parking lot that was rebuilding the inside of their work van. Staff did not look as professional as the pictures in the ad showed and the internet was not great and wasn’t any better after it was down and they said they were replacing the routers. The air conditioning was old and loud. The nice thing about it was the location to get to places in the area.

Overall good place to stay. We felt safe there. The room was clean. The beds were ok. Bunk beds were a wonderful feature for the kids, though they were a bit creaky.

Very comfortable room and bed. The only downside was the A/C unit, which had tiny buttons with all the labels worn off so it was hard to figure out how to turn it on and adjust it. Very reasonably priced room!

This was worth the drive from I-84. The breakfast was hot, had OJ, good coffee, real 1/2 and 1/2. The motel is being upgraded. There was lots of wear on the first room and it had the smell of some sort of perfume that made us both sick, like walking down the detergent aisle at Walmart, but the manager transferred us to a terrific upstairs room that we loved, especially for the value.

This is a reasonably priced place with breakfast included. It’s older and has noisy air conditioning but if you turn it off the area is quiet. The market across the street had amazing produce and well stocked . The staff are very nice. Shower could have been better, low pressure.

we went to Goldendale Observatory park, the ponderosa motel is on the way and close, it is very convenient for us go out at night for star gazing. The room is clean and neat. the kitchen is good, and room is quiet. the only complain I have the bed is too soft.

I don’t see how anyone could possibly say anything negative about this wonderful motel. Everything was absolutely clean and our room appeared to have everything newly remodeled. We actually had two separate rooms with the door that closes for two people to have total privacy. Our space was incredibly spacious and felt a great deal more like an apartment than a hotel room. There was a full kitchen with everything that is needed for basic cooking: wonderful place especially considering that there are few other options. The breakfast was hot with absolutely amazing freshly made hash, brown potatoes with vegetables and eggs. Absolutely delicious danishes, fresh juice, and hot biscuits and gravy!!

We have a big family so it was great to have multiple beds in the spacious room and lots of seating. We also appreciate the full buffet breakfast with eggs and waffles included in the great price and the staff being so friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay!
