We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gloucester Robinswood Hotel. In particular the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and spacious with good amenities however the bed was slightly firm, however this did not detract from the overall quality of the room. The leisure facilities were very good, the pool was warm and on both occasions we visited it was not busy. It was also handy that the hotel provided towels for guests using the leisure facilities. The only criticism was that the young lady working in the leisure centre lacked some customer service skills. The breakfast was extremely tasty and there was always plenty of food on offer. It was a nice touch that the chef came out and greeted all the guests in the morning and ensured all guests were enjoying their breakfast. A big thank you to Sharon who accommodated us on our final morning after we arrived slightly late for breakfast meaning we could still enjoy a breakfast to our liking. We would definitely stay again.

Staff were friendly but the hotel itself is run down and outdated. The pool, hot tub and hydro therapy does not work and is poorly maintained. The sauna and steam room are too small to accomadage the number of guests at one time so they aren’t hot as the door is constantly open (Sauna door doesn’t even close).

A fabulous stay. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was clean and a good size. The breakfast was lovely. Access to the pool was an added bonus. Really easy to use with free use of towels and locks. We will definitely return 😃

Check in was difficult and they didn't have a disability friendly room in the main building so we were put in one in the annex which shouldn't have been given to guests. The chest of drawers was broken, there were no tissues, the soap dispenser next to the sink didn't and it didn't look as if the room had beeb serviced as the coffee sachets and sugar were spilt on the desk and there wasn't any tea bags. The only saving grace was that Shalom at reception did his utmost to try to make us comfortable. If it wasn't for the fact we were meeting old friends who live nearby we wou.d have le

Lovely staff, fab breakfast, clean room, plenty of parking, asked for a quiet pet free room and it was perfect! Will stay here again and hopefully use the amenities next time. Parking was only £5 for 24 hours and as the room was a very reasonable didnt mind paying

I picked this hotel because it included a Spa. The Spa was disappointing on the day we visited as there was a problem heating the pool. The hotel felt very dated. We only needed to stay one night so it was ok.

The WiFi was awful, “connected” but didn’t actually work. The room wasn’t very clean, stains in sink that I was able to remove with a light swipe from toilet roll… so clearly wasn’t cleaned. Stains on the toilet seat. Toilet would overfill anytime it was flushed. Had to pay for parking even after paying for a room? Radiators would not turn off, woke up sweating, so not exactly eco-friendly if your radiators are constantly on… Plug socket had a snapped bit of plastic in it so was unusable. Did not use the pool or gym facilities as I just wanted to leave. Would not stay here for long periods, overpriced for what the room was.
