Good friendly service. Rooms were clean and well supplied. Great location in Merchant City near Museum and George Square. Easily walkable and public transport. Nice breakfast with a wide variety including vegetarian. While rooms were clean and comfortable they do need some TLC they look a little worn.

My room was disgusting. As soon as I opened the door, there was a foul smell overpowering the room and when I used the shower there was a terrible smell of urine. I reported this to reception however it didn’t seem like they bothered too much

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and our room was compact but clean and had great facilities. Highly recommend stay here. Super comfy beds. Only one thing I would say would be that AC would be a nice have but didn’t spoil our stay not having it. Will definitely stay again.

Location is great

Location and parking is great. We had a twin room which was very crammed, struggled to get round the bed as the desk is in the way. Pillows desperately need replaced, it felt like I was sleeping on a brick sadly. Rooms could be done with an upgrade, a lot of decor looking poor and bathrooms are aging. Will stay again for location

Close to Queen Street train station and within walking distance to Buchanan street for the subway station and lots of dining options. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but clean and nice enough. The breakfast was lovely but the 5 stars go to the staff…especially Matthew and Joy who had a wonderful smile even though the front desk was very busy.

Mercure Glasgow is well positioned to see the city and the sites. The staff offer excellent customer service and the facilities of cafe/restaurant/bar all on site which was very helpful. Our room was quiet, with good shower, and a comfy king bed. We used the look sundry service, which we found to be a great service, and price was reasonable. All in all, we found the hotel to be of a very good standard.

Breakfast is very hectic an excellent range but only when available !. So when I went for the hot choice there was no sausages, no bacon, no egg, no grilled tomatoes, no potato scone, no mushrooms. The bacon and sausage turned up within 5 minutes, then the mushroom 7 mins, A waiter or staff member noticed after 10 minutes and offered to bring some egg to our table when ready. He did do that as for the other items we just left it and had some toast instead. Apart from that issue the hotel and staff Are Excellent.
