Great hotel - poor communication

Overall nice hotel. Rooms are very good. The only downside was that their messaging via the Hotels.com website was poor. I messaged them prior to our stay with a request that was not acknowledged. They contacted me via Hotels.com with an unrelated message, which I responded to immediately. But again there was no response.

Perfect location to walk and explore Gent. The staff were absolutely lovely. The shower in the room is life changing. Breakfast is plentiful and yummy. I would recommend this hotel to who is traveling to Gent.

Perfect location for exploring central Ghent. Attractive exterior. All staff members from the reception to the bar and cleaning staff were welcoming, professional, helpful and efficient. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. Shame some of the bar area had odd design flaws. Bench seats have glaring lamps at eye level behind companions heads. Coffee/ drinks table too low at shin height.

Great hotel in old town

This is a great option within easy walking distance of every old town sight. We could see the clock tower from our window, which is just steps away from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was large and we had plenty of room to spread out. The breakfast buffet was huge and well worth the add-on charge. Would definitely stay here again!

Odd experience checking out. Hotel staff tried to charge additional rate when it was all booked/ paid for on Expedia. Also the fold out beds are not suitable for extended nights stays of restful sleep

Staff were just amazing. Great location in Ghent, close to most must see. We have stayed in several NH Collections in Europe and all have been great. However, staff in Ghent really made the difference in our stayed. All staff go above and beyond from check in to any request. It was my husband bday the second day of our stay and Hadi coordinated many special details for us to celebrate. Kuddos to Hadi for making our stay so special. We will definitely stay here again and/or recommend this hotel to family and friends.
