Breskfast was included. Room cleaned daily with housekeeping bringing new towels without asking. Beautiful,large pool. Internet was good. Hotel is close to road and you did hear the vehicles. I would ask next visit to have a room on the back side of the hotel, pool side.

The 1836 Inn is perfectly located in the center of town. Baltimore Street has many tourist attractions and dining options are walkable. It is a dog friendly destination, and I traveled with my dog. There is a $25 per night fee for a dog, which is normal. The rooms are updated and comfortable. It is very quiet, relaxing, and perfect for travelers of any age. Families, seniors, dogs, all will enjoy this wonderful property. Don't hesitate to book the 1836 Inn. Great time guaranteed!

The air conditioners in both room were noisy and did not make sleep an option. In addition, the road noise outside with the traffic and motor cycles was load - maybe rooms at the back are quieter.

Themed for its historic location, 1863 Inn of Gettysburg is a great place to lodge your family if you are going to spend one night or one week near the Gettysburg National Military Park. The staff was friendly and competent, the lobby and our room were clean, and the breakfast offered a nce selection, probably slightly above average compared with other similarly-priced reservations. The hotel is situated somewhat tightly between its two adjacent neighbors, which might be expected given the layout of the town, but it makes it such that you should approach with care to ensure you do not accidentally drive by and have to turn around. We would stay at tge 1863 again.

Great comfortable location

Great location & easy to park. Breakfast was one of best we have had- not the typical toast & bowl of fruit most continental breakfasts entail. Outside looks older, but our room had new flooring & was clean. Will visit again!

The front desk people were very friendly, convenient to tours. My first night I found crumbs in the one bed, I called the front desk and reported it. The front desk left a note for housekeeping. When we went back to the room I pulled the bed covers back, and the crumbs were still there. I reported it upon checkout. I feel that I shouldn't have paid that amount for a dirty bed.

The hotel is located in the ideal spot. You can walk to the shops in the historic district, and also walk directly to the battlefields. Park your car at the hotel, walk to Cemetery Hill, Culps Hill, cut through the National Cemetery and experience walking the fields of Pickett’s Charge. Return to the immaculate hotel, swim in the giant pool, and enjoy the enormous buffet breakfast.

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. The room we were in was renovated not long ago and was really nice and spacious. The only thing I would have liked was a microwave in the room. There is one in the lobby but if I want a hot tea at 10 pm, I don't want to go to the lobby. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is the best I've ever had. There is such a large assortment of food which you don't get at any other hotel. The hotel is located around so many shops and restaurants and all are walkable. You could also walk to the town center (roughly a 15 minute walk) where there are alot of shops and restaurants as well. All in all, this was a great place to stay and I'd highly recommend it.
