This trip was the second time I stayed in Gettysburg at the 1863. I love the character of the hotel and the location is ideal. The breakfast has been delicious both stays.

Centrally located near restaurants, museums and park. Nice pool. Make sure to get a room around the back as street noise is a problem in the front. The air conditioner in the room sounded like sleeping in a dishwasher. The bed was lumpy and squeaked. We left early.

The 1863 Inn of Gettysburg is an excellent choice. Centrally located, you can walk everywhere in town, and even to parts of the battlefield. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the free breakfast has lots of choices.

Loved this place , the room was clean , staff was Friendly and even called a few times throughout our stay to see if we needed anything . The Breakfast is included and had a lot to choose from , it is close to walk too many restaurants and shops . I left my purse in dining room and they quickly returned to me . The visitor center is next door for bus tours but would recommend the drive through instead so you can take time to see everything , they don’t stop and let you explore much . We didn’t stop at all so went back the next day ourselves . The Visitor & Museum is a must see also we bought tickets to Museum , film and cyclone it was Amazing around $40 for two people . Jennie Wade house right next to Hotel . I highly recommend staying with this Hitel Hotel.
