The room was in good condition and location was good. The front desk staff was less than friendly, not rude , just zero eye contact or smile , just a “ checking in ?) while looking away … and no asking how it was, just checking out ? while looking away. Eye contact communicates dignity. I just think a slight smile would help. We drive 10 hours in rain and it was just sort of deflating. Also the wooden chairs in the room are a terrible idea, I was dissapointed by that. You need a comfortable chair to sit on besides bed. The housekeeping staff was very kind in the hallway .

The hotel of course is amazing but the staff went above and beyond to help us feel welcome. All of the front desk staff as well as Frankie, the awesome bartender, made us feel like family. We will definitely be back! The Glovers
