The property was extremely busy at check in with many guests trying to use the self serve kiosks, the staff were kind enough to assist us to get checked in. The property is very popular with families, lots of kids onsite! It was fairly convenient to get to from the North Terminal, but it is outside the terminal and across a street by a parkade. It was very quiet at night. The dining room restaurant did not feel like a dining experience, fairly basic menu items and drinks. The cafe was open very early when we went to the airport for our flight at 5am, which is convenient if you have to grab something on the go. The single bed in the room is very much for a child, we had two adults in a family room and the extra single bed was very soft and low to the ground.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. They provided suggestions of what we could do for the day since it was a one day stay. The breakfast was also pretty good! Would recommend if anyone needs to stay by Gatwick airport!

This is a great local secret for taking an early flight out of Gatwick. I think I was one of very few Americans everyone else seemed to be from the sounding cities. The restaurant was delicious, the bar was friendly and the room was extra spacious with a great view of the airfield! Kevin at check in was amazing. I will definitely return if I need another affordable room and im connecting at the airport.

It was a decent airport hotel, but…. If Ryanair operated an airport hotel - this is what it would look like. Rooms were clean and the bed was good. There was no refrigerator or bottled water in the room. No ice buckets or other ice machines that we could find. Very basic amenities and services. Not much else other than a tea kettle and a bottle opener. Be prepared however to get “nickeled and dimed” over anything else. Arrive before check in? Pay a fee. Want good wifi? Pay a fee. Want breakfast? Pay a fee. And be prepared for a HARD SELL on staying there for dinner too.
