Cottage located on the river in Downtown Gatlinburg, Tn

Nice extra clean 2 bedroom-2 bath cottage. .
Master bedroom has king bed, second bedroom has queen bed. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the living area and a wood burning fireplace in the living room. (please note we do not supply wood for the fireplace).
The standard charge is $175.00 for 4 people. The additional charge is $15.00 per person per nite over 4 people. Minimum stay is 3 nights rental. Fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave oven and drip coffee maker.
Glassed in sun porch off the dining area facing the Little Pigeon River.
Washer/ dryer located off the kitchen area.
Patio with charcoal grill. Gas grill under carport.
Cottage is within walking distance (10-12 minutes walk ) to the center of Gatlinburg just a quarter of a mile away.
ABSOLUTELY no pets or indoor smoking.
Stay a full week (7 days) and get the 7th night free. ( you would only be charged for 6 nights if you stay a full week.)

Great place along the river

Ruth's Aspen House is one of our fishing buddies' favorite places we have stayed. Easy access to the river with a set of stairs that leads to a nice walkway above the river. One of my friends was an 85-year-old veteran who loves to fish, but finds it hard to get down to the river in that area due to rugged terrain. He caught is limit easily. Thanks to Ruth providing us with a crock pot, which wasn't on the list of available kitchen items, we also were able to make dinner "slowly" all day and enjoy a hot meal after a hard day of fishing. Ruth was great at replying to all my questions. The perfect host! We'll be back next year.

Favorite VRBO

I’ve stayed in numerous VRBOs and this one might be my favorite. This one didn’t feel outdated to me at all. It felt like going to visit my grandmother. The decor is just perfect! This property had everything we needed. Plenty of room for everybody, great location, and a gorgeous view of the river. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy house in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was cute and cozy and we found the vintage decor very charming, like staying at grandma’s house. The neighborhood was very quiet, the view of the river(and the geese!) was even better than expected and the location was convenient to everything. The walk into Gatlinburg would’ve been a bit far for us, but the trolley stop was very close to the house. 10/10 would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to go back again!

We had a really nice time at Aspen Cottage! Very relaxing, beautiful views, easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! We especially enjoyed the sunroom! Our only problem was learning to operate the TV remotes! But, we’re old!!! Highly recommend this property!

Just what we needed

Both my friend and I have busy jobs and lives. This past weekend was a much-needed reprieve. The location was excellent, the home was immaculate and so comfy. The beds slept wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the sunroom and outside area. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find a yummy chocolate cake waiting for us. We would definitely come again. Lovely place. Wish we could stay longer.

We really needed a mountain getaway, yet close to downtown. This fit our needs perfectly! Woke up with the river next to us, and enjoyed watching the ducks playing joyfully in the river in the morning. It was a crowded weekend, but the cabin was quiet and we walked everywhere in town. We loved having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, very comfortable beds, and overall a wonderful experience !

Very Enjoyable.

The property was very clean and at a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. Being able to walk to all the attractions we wanted to see in Gatlinburg and a short drive to Pigeon Forge with all it had to offer. Because on the heavy rains we were unable to fish. The location certainly had access for fishing on property. This would be a must stay if we decide to return.

Walk into town

We (2 couples) had a great stay at this property. The location is walking distance into Gatlinburg with a trolley stop on the corner. The house is on the river with a big front yard. It is a bit outdated but very clean and has all that you need. You have to mindful of the bears by not leaving any food out or in your car.

Great location with a good view

The cottage is located in a really good spot to avoid all the parking fees of driving in gatlinburg. Everything is within walking distance. The back patio is amazing with a really good view of the little pigeon river.

Very comfortable

Everthing was pleasant and nice location , definitely saw a bear . Loved that the river in the back was very relaxing. Only thing was that trash can had a really bad odor , but other then that clean and cozy.

Quaint and cozy

I hate to leave a good review because more people will want to go there and I want to keep it as a secret just for me and my wife. The cabin was very clean and nicely setup. It isn't flashy, but very quaint and simple, kind of retro. We didn't need the bells and whistles. We were there to enjoy Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and what they have to offer. It was nice getting up in the morning and enjoying the stream right out back with easy access for fishing. And also to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. I am sure it has been mentioned, but the easy and quick access to the trolleys for going in to the Gatlinburg strip is an awesome convenience. It was perfect for two couples. Wonderful Stay

The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We loved being on the river and saw bear every day that we were there. It’s a little piece of paradise. It’s tucked away on a back street but close to town. We walked into town every day.

Great location! The creek running behind the house was perfect and so peaceful. We saw lots of bears on the street and in the yard of the property (fun bonus). Walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. Will definitely stay again!!

Cute Cottage

Cute, clean cottage. Overall comfortable & enjoyed sunroom overlooking Little Pigeon River. At end of main strip so a walk to attractions & restaurants but close to a trolley stop. Did not realize main bedroom was not an ensuite. There was a bathroom in the hall between the bedrooms while the 2nd bath was across the house by the kitchen. Really liked having a carport. Several light switches that did not seem to work or turn on anything. We would stay here again.

Great Cottage - Great location

I loved overlooking the LP River from the "all window" enclosed back of the Cottage. Best location I have ever booked in G'burg. We walked to all restaurants and shopping in Downtown area. This Cottage is sooo nice and don't hesitate to book. We had zero issues will probably book again to come back in 9 months.
