Chalet on Ski Mountain is a luxury family cabin in Gatlinburg with incredible views of the mountains and Mount LeConte. This 3 Bedroom chalet is only one mile from the top of Ski Mountain, and is convenient to the ski basin. Downtown Gatlinburg is just a short drive below, as well as the entrance to The Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Chalet on Ski Mountain is a family-friendly cabin, offering modern aesthetic with touches of rustic, old world charm. The home is furnished and designed to enhance your family vacation experience and offer you a clean and safe place to call home during your stay in the Smokies.

Guests will appreciate the beautiful kitchen, fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, crock pot, utensils, and dishes. The dining space is furnished with an expandable table able to sit up to 6 adults.

The main floor is an open concept living space great for gathering with family and friends. The living area has French doors that open onto a spacious deck and large windows with a seasonal/partial mountain view. The room is equipped with Smart TV, Roku, WIFI, DVD player, and electric fireplace.

There are two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the main floor. The first bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds.
Upstairs there is a third bedroom with a queen bed, a half bathroom and a cozy reading area.

Bring the kiddos! We have a pack and play and booster seat available for your convenience. Also, the deck is fully enclosed with gates.

In the warmer months (Memorial Day thru Labor Day), you’ll have access to the “Owner’s Club Clubhouse” which is just down the road, including a large swimming pool, two tennis courts, basketball, playground, shuffleboard and indoor activities, including a pool table and work-out gym.

Chalet on Ski Mountain has off-street parking available for up to two cars.

We had an amazing experience. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 teens and this was great for us. We loved the cozy fireplace and loved the proximity to town and the park. We cooked in a few times and the kitchen had everything we needed. Also, the communication with the manager was excellent and she helped answer all my questions. Highly recommend! If we return to the Smokies, we would love to stay here again!

We had the best little family getaway! This chalet was neat and clean and in a great location. Very peaceful with pretty mountain views. My kids loved seeing the tram go back and forth to Ober Gatlinburg. Host was very sweet and accommodating- allowing us put our family's safety first and reschedule the trip due to a snow/ice storm in January. So blessed to have gone the weekend that we did end of Feb/beginning of March with absolutely perfect weather (65 and sunny). A huge thank you to the host for his part in making that happen for us. Would definitely stay again.

Everything was exactly as we expected very nice chalet, except for the first night we could not sleep downstairs where we plan to because of the roof leaking, and one side of the bed was very wet.

Let’s start with the home… coffee pot is basically broken. Takes a really long time to brew. The thermostat was set at 60 degrees when we arrived. Took a bit to warm up. Barely a roll of paper towels despite being told paper products would be initially stocked. Blinds broken in patio door. Fireplace casing detached from the wall. Luke warm water at best. Super uncomfortable mattresses. The forecast was getting worse for severe bad weather. The roads are super steep and curvy even when dry. intelligence told me we needed to get down before we became stuck. I advised the rental agent we would be leaving early. I kindly asked for a refund knowing this was beyond our control and was denied. I asked again and was denied again. So many posts on social media shared many other agents were offering refunds so tenants could be SAFE. Nope, not these folks. I definitely would not recommend. Greed won over human decency. I would not recommend this place.

It was easy to get there, the view was beautiful, the cabin was very cozy, very clean, we were very relaxed, and we ended up seeing a bear which was very entertaining. It was our first trip here and we were not wrong about our cabin choice. We will surely come back soon!

The place was beautiful. The place was pretty clean, although I ran the vacuum as we found Cheerios and Doritos on the carpet in the living room. If you’re used to the narrow mountain roads and aren’t afraid of heights, the place is fabulous with breathtaking views. We just weren’t used to it and it made our day a bit stressful. The host was very responsive and respectful during each correspondence.

Place was cute and cozy. We had six people (2 adults/ 2 teens/ 2 kids) and it was just right for our family as a home base as we left everyday for Dollywood/National Park/Gatlinburg. We mostly stayed out most of everyday. Only thing is if you have a larger family and want to stay in, the living room seating isn’t enough with 1 chair and 1 sofa, but if your like us and out most of the time or sitting on the back porch- the living room seating doesn’t matter. Bears. Lots of bears our week all around the cabin. The only thing to be careful of is the porch is ground level on one side and the bears jump up on the porch. We were outside sitting drinking coffee and playing card games with our small kids when a bear decided to join us. Overall it was the perfect place for our family. Beds were comfortable. Only shower is downstairs from the main. Stairs to upstairs master are steeper than normal, be careful. Would stay again.
