This is the best location in Galveston across from the newly renovated Babe's Beach and some of the best fishing in Galveston at the 61st pier. Play on the beach or jump into one of the two swimming pools located at the Casa Del Mar. Later, stroll down the beach and come back to cook your catch on your own stove and full refrigerator or walk down the seawall to many of the closely located restaurants and bars such as The San Luis Steakhouse, Grotto, Blake's Bistro, IHOP, San Luis Bar, H2O Bar, Landry's Seafood or Rainforest Café. Finally, settle in and watch a movie on one of the five televisions.
