Check-in was quick, the staff friendly and it was a short elevator ride to the room. The room is clean but the bed is too hard for my liking.

Couldn’t get there because of the ice storm as flights were cancelled and refused to refund or even offer a credit. I cruise at least once a month and will now reconsider staying at any Hilton brand during my travels. Even the cruise line fully refunded what I paid.

Clean, very professional staff (quick & efficient check-in despite crowd at desk). Location on the Galveston Seawall was perfect, and if the weather hadn’t been so cold for our spontaneous overnight visit, we had many options to walk to. We sprang for a Gulf-facing room with a balcony and were able to enjoy a gorgeous sunrise. Ample snacks and very nice complimentary breakfast are all pluses for Galveston.
