Super clean, room was well set up, beds were decent. I recall 4 minor negatives about the stay: 1) the window curtain was separated at the bottom therefore the AC unit blew it open. 2) the inside curtain was missing, you could clearly see into the room, I mitigated this with electrical tape. 3) there was nochain lock on the door. The brackets were there. But the chain had been ripped off. On top of that the deadbolt would not lock because it was offline camted about 2 mm and I did not have the strength to pick the door up to get it locked all the way. I corrected this by putting two tables and a chair in front of the door. 4) Not really a Big Deal, but I believe there was only one Coke machine at the hotel and the credit card piece was offline, the dollar insertion piece wouldn't accept a regular size dollar. Ultimately, I resorted to coinage 10 quarters for $2.50. With two attempts I was able to insert nine quarters and the 10th one disappeared both times so that Coke machine now owes me 50 cents.

Other than no TV it was great

Everything was great except i paid that much an the tv didnt work an i was there 3 nights i had to go buy a laptop just for something to do

They did not show my travelocity res so had rent when I got there at inflated cost. Room had no sheets so called desk with no answer. Walked back down and finally rang someone to it who then got the room made up in 15 minutes. Room was nice and roomy though. Ice maker working. Soft sheets. Nice granite and tile.

The stay overall was OKAY. We needed a place to stay for Ida because berthing was booked, but other than that I wouldn’t stay here again. I would give this place a 5/10. The staff is very friendly, but they need to have a better clean up crew & finish upgrading the rooms.

My boyfriend and I went for a night away together at this hotel. We had been to another Scottish inn and suites a few months ago that was awesome so we went here. Sadly it was not the same experience. The couch in the room appeared dirty, their was an odor when you walked in, bathroom did not look like it had been cleaned, and the sheets and bed were dirty. Their were stains all over the fitted and lose sheets. I found hair in the bedding as well including pubic hair. We had already paid for the room so we stayed but thankfully I brought my own bedding to sleep on. The guys at the front desk were very nice tho. I just will not stay here again.

Ok for a small town.

Room: deep cleaning; Bed: new sheets. Sheets have holes and stains ( ugly). Bathroom: deep cleaning (tiles). It has good bones and it is in a very good location. Keep it CLEAN!

Every bit as comfortable as a Hilton

I was looking for a clean and economical place to stay while on Houston/Galveston trip with two sons. This location was midpoint and coincided with visit to Johnson Space Center. We also stayed on beach in Galveston and high end hotels in Houston. What I noticed.. This location was well cared for and had "pride of ownership" written on it. I believe these are the owners who do all the work. And, it shows. My compliments to the staff for making our visit every bit as enjoyable as a Hilton.

Housekeeper was nice. Pillows were flat and worn out. Asked for extra pillows and was told there were none.Had to buy some. Furniture was old and left over from previous owners from years ago. No remote for tv, no do not disturb sign, no bible, no channel list for tv, toilet kept running, water in shower was not hot and no coffee for the room or from the lobby. No breakfast and the parking lot was very trashy. Office workers were nice enough, but this place needs improvements, like now!
