Saved my family trip

Hotel smelled like seawater but I got used to it fast. I was in the gym quality inn was able to take me in I was very appreciative thankful and enjoyed every bit of the service given to me while I was there

Did not receive the room we booked. We were supposed to have a king suite with a pull out couch. We got to the room and it was a king bed with a tub in the middle of the room. We then receive 2 queen instead. Elevator was slow. Overall it was just an average stay but seemed clean enough

I am genuinely confused as to how this hotel has so many positive reviews. I am not a picky person when traveling as my family and I usually only use the hotel to sleep but this was beyond dirty, dated and unpleasant. The room we stayed in had some kind of blue pellets all over the floor that had not been vacuumed up. Traveling with a toddler, I always check the floors and I’m glad I did. There was trash behind the headboards, carpet severely stained. We stayed 5 days and no housekeeping was done or offered during our stay. The pool is indoors which was nice since the weather was cooler but the pool area itself is in disrepair with rusted doors, windows, and filters. Breakfast was decent and that area was kept clean. The staff at front desk are hit or miss. Some are very pleasant and helpful, others are not. I asked for extra blankets one day and was told “I’ll check with the laundry room but probably not”. No extra blankets and no extra towels for the week we stayed. Beach is very easily accessible and the surrounding area was busy but had some dining options, a few shops, and it’s centrally located to other main attractions. That being said, we will never stay here again.

I was surprised about the condition of the bathroom. It looks like the floors are never scrubbed and the areas around the door has grime accumulated. I took pictures of the bathroom floors. The carpet needs to be deodorized.
