Awesome staff-kid friendly environment

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. Everything was well-maintained, and we really appreciated how clean everything was throughout the hotel. There were also fun things for the kids to enjoy, which made our stay even better. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!

My room smelled like men’s cologne and when I got into bed, I could smell it on the sheet. I was disappointed that you have to pay for breakfast here.

The place can use some TLC but the staff is extremely friendly, especially the housekeepers. The bed was so comfortable and offered both a soft and a firm pillow. Nice pool. The back of the hotel has outdoor only hallways made up of partially painted cement in a horrid brown. It doesnt match the interior of the rooms. It makes you feel like you are going from staying at a 1 star motel to a 3 star hotel. That is odd. It could use some sprucing up with maybe beach decor out pastel colors.

The hotel was very family friendly. We enjoyed the pool so much, the Getty Restaurant and drinks and food delivery at the pool from the bar. Our grandkids had a great time!

I liked having the restaurant and bar on the premises. The wait for and the elevators were extremely hot, no air in either. The rooms were nice and cool. The maid staff was wonderful. The bar staff was slow as can be but nice. If you’re not a kid person, this is the wrong hotel for you. Lots of kids and kid activities. Check your bill carefully before leaving the premises. I would go back.

Overpriced and hidden charges

Overpriced hidden charges for $600 I would expect children not to be running through the Halls people being loud people smoking marijuana in a non-smoking facility and charging for early check-in charging an amenity when the amenities they offered were for people for children not for adults and the children stayed in the pool area until close not following the rules there for adults cannot go down and enjoy themselves I would recommend an 8:00 p.m. curfew for children so adults can enjoy themselves as well especially after paying $600 for one night.

After a 2 1/2 hr drive-in, we arrived at just before 4pm to find that the room still wasn't ready. Staff told me they would call me when the room was finally available but. Never did. I drove around well over an hour and decided to go back where they presented us with the room cards, no big deal. After arriving in the room, there was a smell, kind of like urine and corn chips, that we couldn't get to go away. We even bought Febreeze to spray in there but it only helped briefly. The beds were quite comfy, as well as the pillows, which was quite surprising. With 4 of us, there were more than enough towels provided for the room and the staff was quick to bring extra blankets and towels when we requested them. Hotel provided a lot of activities for the kids, including a game room, arcade, and a room set up for movie watching. The pool was nice in that it had plenty of seating and very attentive staff providing whatever was needed. The resteraunt was OK and I appreciated the prepaid breakfasts that came with our stay. I was most excited about the location as it was within walking distance to Rainforest Cafe and their show as well as easy access to the beach. I'd say overall there was a lot included for the what we paid but the initial experience withe room availability and the smell kind of earned this less than the sum of the entire trip. Still, hotel is very kid-friendly and is in a real good location.

When I went into my room there was feces on the toilet handle, toilet handle was broken, hair all over the floor and shower, toilet wasn’t flushed!! I call the front desk immediately and it took 3hrs before housekeeping came to clean; 24 hrs before maintenance came to fix the toilet handle. Also on the 6th floor soon as you step off the elevator there’s mouse hole right across. I would advise visitor to go somewhere “DON’T” go there!!

We have to pay for parking and activity fee although we don’t use anything and I never saw a security guard in parking lot. So unnecessary.

Overall Awesome

Our stay was fantastic, location was perfect, room was clean. Since it was our honeymoon, our room was upgraded and that was awesome! The view from the balcony was breathtaking! Our only complaint was that the mattress was too firm for us and not super comfortable. However that would not dissuade us from staying here again!
