Very good value for money in Galle Fort

Excellent location (right inside Galle Fort) and value for money. The owners were really welcoming, nice and helpful. B&B located in a smaller street of the Fort, thus providing calm. Room with a large bed, A/C, mosquito net and small balcony. We definitely recommend it! We got our breakfast in another hostel managed by the owners.

Fairly secret, not really a palace.

The place is right near the south end of the Fort area in Galle. Excellent location. Easy to find if you are on the right street; you just look for the sign and go down the long alley. Our room was a larger room and a smaller room connected, with a double bed in the larger room and a twin bed in the smaller room. The larger room was only slightly larger than the double bed!

The pillows are very smelly, blanket also not really clean. Water pressure very low so that sometimes cannot turn on the heater. I got a cold shower.

Typique du fort mais c'est tout.

IsolĂ©e au fond d une toute petite impasse cette guesthouse est protĂ©gĂ©e des bruits de la rue. Accueil souriante de la gĂ©rante un bĂ©bĂ© dans les bras qui pleurera toute la nuit Ă©vĂ©nement isolĂ© Ă©videmment. PremiĂšre nuit dans la chambre du RdC sans fenĂȘtre ou il a fallu rĂ©clamer la clim pourtant comprise dans ma rĂ©servation, plutĂŽt bruyante donc. DeuxiĂšme nuit a l Ă©tage dans un petite chambre avec balcon plus calme, mais sans rideaux occultants. J ai un gros doute sur le fait que les draps aient Ă©tĂ© changĂ©s aprĂšs le dĂ©part des prĂ©cĂ©dents clients et le mĂ©nage vu en live plutĂŽt expĂ©ditif. Les articles de toilette sont inexistant. Personne pour prĂ©parer les petits dej donc ces derniers sont servis dans un hĂŽtel Ă  500 m du mĂȘme proprio semble t il. Mise a part la localisation ultra centrale du fort, cet hĂŽtel convient pour 1 nuit sans ĂȘtre exigeant.
