We had a great stay! The kids had so much fun with all the games in the basement, it gave the adults some much needed visitation time! All the bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and clean and grandma loved the heated mattress pad. We had a wonderful Galena Thanksgiving!

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful stay at Austin and Jenny's house. We were having a family reunion to celebrate our parent's anniversary with 11 adults. The house was the perfect size for 5 couples and 1 adult grandchild. The house was very clean and everything was in working order. Check in was very easy. The driveway easily held 5 cars. We cooked most of our meals at the house and there was plenty of dishware, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. The appliances all worked great. It was a great location for exploring the Galena area. We also rented a pontoon boat at the marina and enjoyed exploring Lake Galena.

We came for our nieces wedding in Apple River and our stay for four nights was fantastic! We had our five kids ages 14-27 with two significant others stay. Perfect set up for our family. Master bedroom is on one side of the house on the main floor while the other two bedrooms are located on the other side of the main floor with one full bath. The downstairs was great too! Two full bedrooms with attached bathrooms and plenty of seating and game areas. All the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup wipes, and of course all the other essentials. The kitchen was stocked well and featured a range with dual ovens (one smaller on the top) which was perfect for late night pizza. Coffee pot was a dual pot for ground coffee or pods. The only minor issue was the size of the master bedroom shower, but is definitely not a deal breaker. We would 100% stay here again!
