Bad hotel that needs a major overhaul!

The room was nasty. Bedbugs were seen on the bed. Shower curtain was torn on top. Floor was dirty. Mattress springs were not in good condition, they sagged. The white bed sheets were dingy and I can go on and on. Here, you get what you pay for- for real. I have never stayed in an hotel like this in my entire life. But because we had an emergency and had to find a place to sleep for two nights in Gainesville, Florida while other hotels in the area were completely booked, we had no choice but to stay here. But the hotel first impressions should have given me a clue as to what the hotel rooms would look like. Another thing was that we booked the hotel online and made the reservation ahead of time on Friday morning before we checked in at 5:00 pm that same day. You will never see me and my wife again in this hotel.

Basic room, clean refreshed property. Pros, upside: hot shower, clewn grout. Laminate floors in room. Comfy bed, medium firm. Clean lobby, fresh tasty coffee only starting at 6am. Nice tv. GREAT LOCATION. Near UF, restaurants, and everything you need. Lots of hotel parking. We even ordered UBER EATS and they came right to our hotel door. Tip: order a premium room, probably better setup on HIGHER FLOORS. We had a double, 1st floor, so it was clean but a bit worn in spots but nothing overly bad. Downside: We had 107, 1st floor with blemishes that shoukd be fixed. Basic doesnt mean trashy! Ripped shower curtain at top, padding on lower wall coming undone and an old water leak in bathroom ceiling. Overall the ceiling was clean but that one in bathroom. Easy cosmetics would elevate the basic room. We will stay again, as we have to visit a few times for UF camp dropoff and pickup. Hope they get 107 fixed up!

Know it was a cheap hotel but ratings were good. Says remodeled rooms but that must have been several years ago. A/C was super noisy and didn't get very cold, toilet set was broken,steel door to room was BENT badly. None of the doors closed smooth. Chair had a big white spot in the front and a brown spot in the back.yuck yuck yuck
