Newly renovated Or it seemed, A few pools and great free spa (not massges just amenities) Hotel convenience was excellent. Walk most places and local bus’s were plentiful as were tour bus’s at bottom of hill. Staff was fantastic and There is a mall just around the corner with a Pingo grocery store and clothing shops/fast food.. Last and certainly not least staff was excellent and attentive. Francisco at the front desk was a stand out, he went above and beyond and made our stay that much better.

This hotel is new. The property is beautiful. The front desk staff are friendly, incredibly helpful and speak multiple languages. Some of the other staff are getting adjusted but when they do get some experience this place will be flawless!

this hotel was such a treat and I had a very comfortable stay with gorgeous amenities and views from the rooftop. You were greeted with Portuguese treats and Madeira wine in your room, slippers, and robes, which are always appreciated, and the breakfast had everything you needed (was obsessed with the glasses on the tables, so pretty!). All of the staff were super helpful, very friendly and attentive. I’m not even going to knock a star because who would do that for this reason, but I do wish they were adult hours or late night maybe from 8 to 10 adult hours for the indoor pool area. Their was a lovely spa and sauna, but there were a lot of children in the pool. The parking is also a little hard to get out of if you have a bigger car, but otherwise extremely convenient and just to be aware if you have a larger vehicle. I will be recommending this hotel as a wonderful stay and thank you so much for all your service to everyone on the staff!

The hotel was a great surprise: brand new, well appointed and perfectly located next to a shopping mall and several restaurants. The staff is friendly and courteous. The gym is ok, but the 3 swimming pools are great. Rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable.

It was a good stay and the hotel was nice. The food was good. Only issue we had was the number for the reception was no where to be found in the room so you’re not able to call down if you need anything. They clean the room well but forget to restock on toilet paper. Sadly because it’s just opened the spa doesn’t have a masseuse but the spa was great and loved the sauna.

We stayed at this hotel for just one night, and honestly, we were quite surprised that it is rated as a 5-star property. In our opinion, it feels more like a 3-star hotel rather than 5. The room was very small, which we did not expect from a hotel of this category. We had read many positive comments about the breakfast, but in reality it was quite underwhelming. Aside from fresh fruit and kiwi, there was nothing particularly memorable or impressive. Another detail that felt disappointing was the so-called “welcome drink.” At reception, you are given two cards to redeem for a drink, but in reality this turned out to be just a glass of juice. For a 5-star hotel, one would expect something more in line with the category — even a small glass of sparkling wine would feel more appropriate. This felt more symbolic than truly welcoming. The spa schedule is also not very guest-friendly, as services only start at 10:00 AM, which makes it difficult to use them if you have an early departure. Parking is paid and costs €50 per day, which also feels excessive. To be fair, the hotel is clean, and the furniture and interiors are new and modern. However, overall it does not meet our expectations for a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, we would probably choose a different hotel next time.

We had a brilliant stay. The hotel is beautifully dedigned with a fresh look. Out balcony was perfect. The breakfast had a large range if options including fresh fruit and cooked eggs as you like. Staff were all so helpful and friendly.

Highly recommend this hotel. A little bit further out from the port and centre but still walkable and easy to get transport. Pretty much next to a shopping centre. Easy to access. Excellent facilities including in room. Staff were welcoming, polite and accommodating. Would definitely stay again

An affordable taste of luxury. Beautiful new hotel, everything spotless, stylishly furnished room with high ceilings and glass wall overlooking a large balcony and ocean view. Roof terrace is great for sunset. Friendly helpful staff, all speaking excellent English. I’d happily stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

A lovely bright and airy hotel with great rooms. The staff were kind and friendly and breakfast was delicious. Brand new only open a month so I’m glad we discovered it before it gets busy which is no doubt will.
