Great value apartment in a great location.Plenty of restaurants/ bars and cafes nearby and only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the old town/cable car For an very friendly authentic Portuguese cafe try Maravilhas Regional just a couple of minutes walk up the road.Also a 5 minute walk down the not too steep hill is a shopping centre with a Pingo Doce supermarket in the basement.Apartment is well equipped for self catering including a full size fridge freezer , microwave/ grill , 4 burner hob plus kettle and toaster, Rosa also provided some basic kitchen essentials such as washing up liquid, cloths and kitchen towels which was great, there was even a washing machine that we didn’t use but very useful for longer stays or if you are traveling. Rosa offered us free complimentary pick up and drop off at the airport which made our arrival and departure stress free. Thank you Rosa for an amazing stay in Funchal.

We spent a month travelling around Portugal and this was the best place we stayed. Great location, incredibly clean, host picked us up from the airport for no charge, even though our flight kept getting delayed. I’d stay here again!

Fantastic place

Very clean, we had everything we needed to. Close to the centre of Funchal, lovely park nearby with playground and beautiful views to relax. Shopping centre just 7 minutes away walking. We had an amzing time. Christmas in Funchal is magical. The owner of apartment very kind and helpfull nothing was a trouble. We will definitely come back. Thank you xx

Funchal

If you are looking for a local place to stay other than a hotel, this is it. The apartment is close enough to the "old town" to make it walkable. It's as advertised, and pictures are accurate. It's close to the Casino but we didn't notice any excessive noise. There are restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The apartment was clean, and our host Rosa was exceptional. Rosa is one of the best we have ever worked with, extremely prompt in responding to any inquires and was very accommodating. We would be happy to stay here again. Thanks for everything Rosa, you're the best!!!!

Fantastic host, perfect location

The apartment was in a great location, within walking distance of restaurants, supermarket and bus stops. It was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Amazing!

Rosa is really punctual and provides you shuttle to the airport for free. The flat is amazing, clean, close to everything. I strongly recommend it if you want to cook or just chill out. 10/10. I will be back for sure.

Perfect!

This apartment is lovely, really really near the Casino, so about an 8 min (downhill) walk to the centre of Funchal. It was spotless, and had everything we needed for our stay. It’s small, but perfectly adequate for two people. Rosa was really welcoming and we were picked up from the airport by her husband (this is a lovely extra service they offer). We’ll definitely be staying there again! Thank you 😊

Comfortable bed, which is just what you need after a busy day exploring Madeira. Rooms are spotlessly clean. Full amenities in the appartment included tea and coffee facilities, fridge, microwave, washing mashine and large TV with multiple channels. Thank you very much, Rosa!

Very clean ,well equipped.BUT I didn't do enough research on the property before booking.. My fault

Very dark interior. Very small yard surrounded by high walls. Not suitable for a lady alone. Which I would have known if I had read up on the place. Perfect for levada walkers out all day.. Unfortunately nothing can stop the barking of dogs from every property surrounding you. I tried making friends with some of them,they accepted treats and fussing,.then barked.anyway!

Lovely apartment in beautiful Funchal

Lovely apartment in beautiful Funchal. We lived at Rosa jardin a whole week in early May. Very convenient location, to the stop, supermarket and center of Funchal very close. The apartment has everything you need, everything corresponds to the description. Pleased with free transfer to and from the airport. There are all household chemicals and even a repellent from mosquitoes (fortunately it was not needed). The hostess greeted me cordially at the appointed time. Very quiet, no vehicles can be heard at all, only dogs sometimes bark. I recommend!
