Great hotel - kitchen staff not friendly

Kitchen manager was rude one night we arrived at 932 pm from a tour to ask if we could have some food. ( they stopped serving at 930 but it was a buffet). He was extremely rude and quickly ushered us out of the dining area.

Very clean hotel with bus stop to Funchal Central close by. However if you are unfit, I would not recommend as there is a steep slope to the bus stop. Staff all very friendly. Optional dinner on the whole very good. Avoid 9 am for breakfast as it can be rather hectic.

The hotel was very pleasant and comfortable. Each evening there was a different themed dinner menu, which made every meal unique and enjoyable. Breakfast offered a good variety of options to choose from. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay!

Modern hotel with everything you need. Close to the sea front with lovely views. Great pool and gym area and excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Quite a walk into Funchal but worth it!

The cleanliness was astonishing. The floors were always kept impeccable. The shower, the room, and the towels and bedding were kept clean without too much damage to the environment. The only thing we missed was a rack to dry towels and bathing suits.
