My room was spotless and I felt really well looked after at the Hotel Angela. The staff, particularly the reception team, restaurant staff and the Wellness massage therapist were helpful and friendly. The bathroom could do with refurbishing next year however as it was not at the same 4 star level as the rest of hotel, but it was clean. Really enjoyed the amenities, particularly the warm indoor pool. A great facility with everything you need. The dining menu was good with at least two fish dishes available at dinner so a good variety of dishes. A big shout out to the amazing and wonderful Maria on reception. Nothing was too much trouble for her and it was clear, the only objectives she had were to understand my needs and to make sure I was comfortable and happy. What a great member of the reception team. But actually, the entire reception staff were impressive. A very good first time experience.

This was our 3rd stay at the hotel. We like the location and that it caters to adults rather than families. The room are a little dated but they’re comfortable with good amenities

The hotel is far from being a 4 star. The staff at the front desk it depends who “assist you” some are very kind but need to ask someone else for answers, and we even had a person who despite being 3 employees at the front desk and absolutely no one else but us, told us to check the app for the information…not really pro hospitality. The spa…omg the lockers, I was shocked at their condition. Some reviews talk about sustainability but the rooms at an ibis are much better when it comes to sustainability, the WiFi is very bad and the rooms are average. The area around the hotel is nice and some reviews talk about the elderly people but it’s just the area but if you go more towards the center there’s a mix of ages.

This one I wasn’t sure how to write. I will start with my ending thoughts- overall I would go back to this hotel and recommend it with some tips for travellers beforehand. If you go premium don’t expect to be treated premium in all the bars or reception. For example the hotel gave our room to another guest who came in when we were in the room, they apologised and gifted us some wine but then refused to provide a corkscrew and wanted us to go and buy our own. It’s a conflicting hotel and I’m not sure the extra price for premium is entirely worth it.

Lovely hotel. Staff very pleasant, rooms cleaned every day. 3 pools, one indoor which is very relaxing. We had a wonderful stay, but one thing to complain about is the food. Do not book any food, it really is awful, a couple of restaurant staff were very rude and signs everywhere about being careful about food portion sizes. The hotel is situated next door to restaurants, and are very good at low cost. Dont eat meals at the hotel, would rate the food as 1 star and im being generous.

We stayed in a Junior Suite and were so pleased. It was spacious, the bed enormous, clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good and although we never made it down for breakfast, the buffet at night was great, with lots of choices. All in all, a calm relaxed week, just what we needed. We will definitely be back, loved it.

Great room with wonderful View

Loved our stay at Hotel Angela, our room (Seaview Terrace) was amazing. Only negative was being charged 2.50 Euros for 8 lumps of ice when our in room fridge wasnt working at first. They did fix the fridge on the second day but the guy at the pool bar who charged us for the ice was not friendly at all. Overall a lovely stay though and the room was gorgeous.
