Nice stay

This was my second time staying here. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. They offer a wonderful commentary breakfast with a wonderful view of ocean. I will have to admit the food quality at "The Otter Room" restaurant has gone down. Also did not appreciate the bartender choice of language within earshot of customers, very unprofessional. Only ate here one of our two night stay due ro poor food and unprofessionalism of bartender.

Glacier View Getaway the Kilcher Family Homestead in Alaska the last frontier

We enjoyed Glacier View and the Kilcher homestead immensely! The property is just magical from the walk down to the beach to picnic or the evening campfires with amazing views. Catkins cabin has everything needed and she is a gracious and entertaining host. This was our family's favorite part of our Alaska trip and are already planning a return stay. Don't hesitate to see Alaska's splendor and the amazing Kilcher Homestead!

Peaceful, private cabin in the woods

Wonderful well maintained cabin in the woods. Private and well equipped with everything you need. Great place to decompress and enjoy the peace and quiet. Catkin is a lovely hostess and she made certain we had everything we needed including great directions. Will book again next trip to Homer
