Situated in the heart of Freshwater village with all of its amenities, is our one bedroom fully furnished Little House in the Garden. We want you to kick back and relax in this calm perfectly located cabin.
It is located 2.6 miles away to the historic town of Yarmouth and is on the Isle of Wight Cycle route and perfectly situated for the huge amounts of walking trails West Wight has to offer through countryside and woodlands, beaches and towns.
The space
The Little House is a new build (late 2022) and offers a bright and airy space for relaxing or as a place to be based if visiting on business.
The lounge area has a very comfy leather electrically reclining 2 seater settee and a large screen Smart TV with Free Sat cable channels and many apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime etc.
If you prefer to keep the TV off, we have provided a selection of books and board games for you.
The kitchen / Dining area is spacious, bright and airy and and filled with everything you would need for a self catering stay. An electric oven and hob, saucepans, dinner sets, glasses and mugs, everything is there. We also provide complimentary Tea and Coffee and a pint of locally produced milk.
Your bathroom is en-suite to your bedroom and has a beautiful walk in shower as well as a toilet and sink.
The bedroom is a calm relaxing area with one double bed with reading lights on both sides of the bed. There is a large wardrobe with hangers.
Outside is your own pretty garden and a decking area to the side with seating and a table for two.
Should you want to keep connected to the outside world and not use your mobile data plan, an excellent free WiFi service is provided.
Guest access
The accommodation is accessed via self check in method (unless you otherwise request assistance) through a side gate and into the accommodations own space. A keysafe is located just before you enter the gate.
There is two hours free on the road parking outside between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday, and free all other times. A short walk down the road provides 24 hour free parking. There is a chargeable car park in the village centre if you prefer.
Other things to note
We are 100 metres away from two bus stops and the route around the West Wight is the Number 7. This route takes in Freshwater, Alum Bay, Totland, Colwell Yarmouth and Newport where you can change buses for anywhere else on the island. Bus trips are currently £3 per person per journey.
