Overnight stop before Bowman distillery tour.

Visit started out on a bad note when we were informed that the king bed room we reserved was unavailable and that only queen rooms were left. Matthew, the front desk person, working kindly give us free valet parking.

The hotel was very nice. Staff all very welcoming and friendly. Stayed on our wedding night and the hotel had a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us upon arrival. Very thoughtful.

It is simply a gorgeous hotel. Every detail with the design was carefully thought out. The millwork, the fixtures and the ambience all are perfectly married to enhance the guest's experience. The linens are superb, thick and luxurious. The mattresses are delightful. The only I would say could be improved upon...the toilet paper really has room for improvement.

I was surprised at how luxurious this hotel is. The rainfall shower head was just outstanding and the rooms have all of this custom wood craftsmanship. I was sort of expecting it to be a renovated courtyard by marriot just named something different and priced higher. But it’s very very nice. Unique in a way. Definitely the nicest hotel in Fredericksburg.
