Friendly welcome and spotless room. Totally silent - you’d never know it was on a motorway.
Was headed out for a works do, and was happy to discover that I could travel northbound but return to hotel travelling southbound later. Perfect location
The room was clean and well prepared. All the staff we had contact with were polite, friendly and helpful. The price we paid for the room was very reasonable. There was one thing we weren't happy about. At check in, we were told we needed to pay £10.00 for parking for two nights. We had not been made aware of this charge until we arrived at the hotel.

Ideal location adjacent to M6. Basic room but clean enough and good value for money. Breakfast was an additional extra but was good
While the room looked clean, there was a smell of mould which hit us as soon as we walked in. We thought it might be just that the room hadnt been aired. We opened windows, sprayed perfume and went out for the evening. Unfortunately, the smell was still there on our return and when we woke up the next morning.
All good except for the parking charge for a hotel on a service station where the only way to get there is by car

My room was quite small, and I was unexpectedly charged £5.00 for parking because I booked through Hotels.com rather than directly with the hotel. This additional charge was not clearly mentioned during the booking process, which was disappointing. Clearer communication about parking fees would greatly improve the guest experience.

Nice hotel, however needs lift and would be better to include parking charge in the price
Has a clean room, but a bit tight shower room. Slightly complicated check-in and it was disappointing that we have to pay parking fee in the hotel which is located within the motorway service
