The older part of the building needs to be renovated, the rooms are a bit dated however the staff are very friendly and helpful. The safe in my room was broken wouldnā€™t work with combination or with the key that the reception gave me. The door swipe never worked and I had to get let into my room by the bellboy

Over charged and still wailing for refund

In general, itā€™s a good place to stay, clean, comfortable, friendly front-desk staff. But as in every 4-starred hotels where we stayed in the trip to Brazil, only a few people at the front desk speak English. Restaurants staffs could not be more unhelpful with menu selection and others are no help for facilities in the resort. And the way they have guests to sign off the dinner buffet was almost hostile. In the last night, my wife didnā€™t have the buffet with me but the guy still charged two buffets on our room. At the checkout, we were promised for a refund after we get back to the States. However, we are still waiting for it and, the worst, there is no phone number that would get through to the hotel to ask.
