Comfortable beds, room and bathroom, kitchen had just what we needed. Quiet location was walkable to restaurants in Fox Glacier, and very close to Lake Matheson. Owner responded quickly to one issue that we discovered.

Located in Fox Glacier, Fox Glacier Lodge is in a national park, a 1-minute drive from Fox Glacier Glow Worm Forest and 6 minutes from Lake Matheson.
Everything was clean and the receptionist was very helpful. The chalet is pretty and very comfortable. The only issue was the laundry that only accept coins. Impossible to find coins these days. Except for that, everything was perfect
