Everything was very hotel-ish except for one thing. Any hotel we have stayed in, Holiday Inn Express for sure, we’ve always put our damp, wet towels on the floor for exchange. We did this last Sunday morning and then left for the day. When we came back that evening, nothing was changed out. Towels still on the floor, bed unmade and trash can full. I went downstairs to the check-in counter and told the lady that room service missed our room. She said that they only had room service on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We were leaving Monday morning and she was very kind to give us fresh towels o we could shower before we left. I had no idea this was a practice and asked why the room service only went three days a week and she said it was owner’s discretion. First time that’s ever happened but next time I book a Holiday Inn Express I will call the hotel first to see if they do this at their location.
