Room was fairly clean. Living room furniture was not comfortable & outdated. Sliding door was broken and very difficult to open and close. Dryer lint catcher was broken, but they fixed quickly. Looks like they have been trying to update it, and they seem to be making progress.
Dish soap, laundry detergent, bar soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion are supplied.
They say beach towels are included, but they are actually bath towels. Also, they say umbrellas and beach chairs are included. There are only like 4 umbrellas. There are about 8 beach chairs...a few short beach chairs and about half a dozen regular chairs. No loungers are available (for the beach,) so you have to lay on the ground.
Would've been nice to know that continental breakfast is provided each morning, 7-10am. We were not informed and only found out when we heard other guests talking about it. Also, they have a hand drill to dig holes in the sand on the beach for umbrella posts, which we also didn't know about until we heard someone else talking about it. They provide these amenities but seem to keep it quiet.
One of the staff members was rude. The worst was when she told my elderly, disabled mother and aunt, also disabled, to go all the way around the building to get to the elevator, instead of going through the lobby, so they didn't track in sand. They had washed their feet before entering the lobby. For able bodied people, sure, walk around, but a little compassion goes a long way.
