The front desk clerk was very rude and has no customer service . We received an email that we would have guaranteed early check-in upon arrival. I showed her the email and she said I don’t know why you receive that because we don’t do that. There were several other guests waiting to check in early as well we all had just come back from a cruise. She had no sympathy for the three elderly family members that I had with me. Her name was Carleen. She had no eye contact as she was speaking to the guest . She would not even give us an estimated early check In time . She refused to contact housekeeping to see where they were with the rooms . The airport offered free airport shuttle and I asked her where we could sign up for the morning pick up to the airport and she said you’ll sign up when you check in although the paperwork was visually right there on the counter to sign up.. She was very adamant that there was no early check In and we would check in at 3 pm which was their regular check In. We were on the first floor. We had two rooms booked, and a few doors down was the door to go outside where people would go outside and smoke. We smelled cigarettes and marijuana and every time they would come in, they would slam the door. I had asked to speak to the manager and she stated that management is only there Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 5:30. Hotel management should be available seven days a week and they should provide training to their employees to be better with guest.

This property is absolutely terrible. The pool is unusable because it is condemned. The ceilings in the rooms all have holes in them, many of the doors look like they were pride open with crowbars so the doors don't shut or lock correctly, and they have dehumidifiers in every room which they do not empty. Worst hotel ever

Tried to shower, no hot water. Room phone not operating, so had to get dressed and go to desk. Was told "water heater broken, will be fixed tomorrow, sorry." Really? Other than that, this is my second time staying here. Everything else is good. Their morning breakfast is very good. Check-in both times seemed slow, especially since we had paid reservations.

Free airport shuttle took over an hour to arrive. We called the hotel three times and finally they gave us the shuttle drivers cell number and told us to call him!!! Hotel was dirty (bugs covered inside of bedside lamp shade) and there was NO HOT WATER. Had to take a miserable cold shower. All this for over $250.00 a night. Horrible experience. Asked for refund or at least compensation. We were refused. Would have left to look for another place but it was already after 11:00 pm and we were leaving for a cruise the next morning. Just awful!

Never again !

Took 3 calls for the airport shuttle. Booked an extra day for the pool which was NOT open. Your listing should not show a pool if it’s not open!!! Had to take a “free” shuttle to another hotel. Uber driver expected us to pay him for the ride then left when we refused. Coffee machine kept breaking. No ORANGE JUICE !!! We were in Florida! Breakfast not satisfactory. Plastic eggs. I am diabetic and asked for fruit cup later in the day and was denied. Rooms and furniture well worn. Why do they call it “plus”?? Will never stay there again. Shuttle to the ship - sign said $10/person with. 14 passengers. Driver would not let us off unless we paid $15 each.

Emailed asking for info on shuttle from airport, responded after we arrived- told to ask front desk to make any arrangements. Tried to call 3x’s - no answer. Large humidifier very noisy, also large humidifier contraption in hallway outside room. Someone spilled coffee in elevator, no one available to clean it up for quite some time. Front desk staff people were as helpful as possible in very busy location.

I left a brand new Detroit Lions hat and I called the hotel 23 minutes after I left . The housekeeper was going in my room because I explained we were checking out . I left the hat on the desk and 23 minutes later it was gone .

The main problem for our stay was that there was no hot water. This was a Sunday night. I'm assuming they got it fixed on Monday. The breakfast was berter than expected.

Property lists a pool - apparently it has been under construction for years - we were put in a room beside the pool construction - it was loud and smelled horrible - we had to be moved to another room - no compensation for no pool on property and check in took way too long - over 20 minutes - so not necessary- the Denny’s is really close but really run down - very disappointing

Called to be picked up by shuttle from airport twice and never got picked up. Driver from another Best Western said he didn’t drop off at the Hollywood. Waited for over an hour. Ended up calling Uber and spent $60. Bad service!

Very unpleasant stay. We arrived from the airport late and upon arrival they informed us the hot water was not working so no showers. The room clearly had an animal inside as it smelled of cat urine. And the air conditioner was broken. Couldnt find another place to book at the time of night. Wont use again.
