We didn't get a chance to stay at the property because when we finally received the door code, after 4pm to get in, I opened the door to find another couple, along with their dog inside the room. The host obviously double booked the room. This was after we spent several hours waiting to get into the room because it was supposedly being cleaned. I had emailed asking if we could possibly get early check in, and she responded she would see what she could do. Needless to say, we wound up having to get a room from the hotel, paying 300 more because we had no choice. We had no car & nowhere to stay now after we flew in from Michigan, and I booked this back in December. Once I told Margarita there were other people & a dog in the room, she told me they should not be in there, and she supposedly made them leave, and begged us to go back to the room. These people did not look like squatter type people, so I don't believe they weren't supposed to be in the room. This was after we already booked a room from the hotel, and obviously, the room had not been cleaned, since there was just a couple & a dog in the room! She acted like we were at fault for leaving the room. It was really embarrassing & shocking to me & I'm sure to the other couple when I walked into the room on them! I was shocked when the woman screamed & the dog came running at me barking! That was not what I expected to find when I walked into our room on the first day of our vacation!

Margarita was a wonderful host! She responded quickly to answer any questions that we had. Love the location! Beautiful view, walking distance to everything we needed, great pool and beach, the Bamboo Tiki Bar has delicious food and the Italian restaurant and bar in the lobby is superb! We look forward to staying at Ocean Manor again!

Everything with amenities were great, host was very communicative, check in a breeze- room was good but the noise was very loud. Construction happening outside of patio so we could not enjoy. Also the hallway was noisy. Nothing against the host at all I just wish there was a warning about the construction.

The host us actually a 90 room hotel. Not an individual owner. The room was nice, however, we only stayed one night of two. We left because the restaurant and bar had been closed. This was one of the reasons we selected this property. Quiet, away from crowds, food on site. Had to go 2 miles away for food/drinks.

Amazing beach view. Property is older so be ready for that but totally worth it to walk out and onto the beach. The balcony is lovely. At the beach you can rent chairs and umbrellas and they do all set up for you which was so nice. Didn’t have to bring anything with us. The Italian restaurant in the lobby is really good.

Great communication with the host. Nice ocean view! We got in much later than expected it was after 10:30, and having a valet was amazing! Looked like the bar and restaurant were still open. Getting in and out was a breeze and it was just 30 min to the cruise port.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner prior to our stay was outstanding! We appreciated her quick responses to our questions. I would definitely recommend this stay. The only issue is the actual "hotel". We arrived directly after our cruise and the room was not ready as we knew it wouldn't be. The hotel said they would store our luggage for a total of 10. When we tried to pick it up they wanted 10 per bag. They did honor the total price of 10. The beach towels required a refundable deposit but then had a 4.75 service charge. This was fine but good to know. They also wanted a non-refundable 15 per beach chair rental. These issues were not a problem for us just would have been nice to know in advance. The Tiki Bar was very good. Even the kids enjoyed the food. I would highly recommend Margarita and her unit in Fort Lauderdale. We truly enjoyed our stay!!

Great communication with owner! Easy entry and valet parking made it simple. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was simple but had what we needed for a quick stay. Mom and daughter beach getaway

Beautiful beach and pool views. Location was within the Ride Circuit route, so getting to restaurants and stores was a breeze. The building and room is a little dated, but very clean. The host was very friendly, quick and responsive when we needed more towels, toilet paper, blankets, and a blow dryer. The room is equipped with a mini fridge/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. There is also an iron and ironing board. There is one ice machine on the first floor. Bring ziplock bags to store your ice in the freezer. I was able to place a Walmart delivery order for groceries and toiletries.
