The best part of this property was its proximity to the town center. We were easily able to walk to the shops, restaurants, and beach; easy to stumble back after a few beverages. There's a breakfast/lunch cafe next door as well.
That said, the property is showing its age. The paint on the stairs was flaking and the bathroom looked a little old. The sheets could use an upgrade aswell. But the towels were great and appeared brand new. And the mattresses were comfortable.
Staff was fine. I only interacted with them at check in, but they were fun.
If you like a super quiet room, this was not it. The hotel is a few blocks from the Skunk Train and the whistles blew fairly often, but did stop at a rwasonable time at night. Plus the hotel is on Main Street, so there's occasional traffic driving by.
Overall, a solid 4 stars.
