Great location, issue addressed was slow

Overall this was a great location. Unfortunately we had a lot of issues involving the bathroom sink and it was not addressed until the third time we brought it to the front desk. A wonderful housekeeper saw what was going on and addressed it right away and offered us the room next door. It was unfortunate we had to bring this to the attention to the front desk three times.

Had a great stay with my young children! Room was spacious and clean. Herman asked if I wanted to have a room with two queens instead of a king at no additional cost. He was very nice and accommodating and I'm glad he asked because it was more comfortable for us all. Will definitely stay again!

This was a great hotel in a great location. Stayed with two kids aged 12 and 14, rooms were spacious and the staff were friendly. Best attribute was the location. Very central, supermarket next door and super close to the station. Would happily stay here again

Banana Ball

Came to town to see Bananaball. Hotel was good and was ideally located for my travel plans. Convenient to Metro and Union Station. A few places nearby to eat and a Harris Teeter basically next door. Hotel was good. Slight disappointment with shower and technology ( TV and USB ).

I wouldn’t stay here again. It was pretty pricey, and the refrigerator didn’t work. I am diabetic and have medication that needs to refrigerated. When I tried to call the desk about this issue, the phone didn’t work either! Everyone was very nice, but it took three days (and speaking to the manager) for it to be fixed. So every time I had to take medication, I had to go down to the desk to request they pull it from their mini-fridge, take the medication, then give it back to the desk to return to their refrigerator. Again, everyone was very nice, but this was hugely inconvenient. Breakfast was very good. A lot of options each day, and the staff was again very friendly. The automatic doors were broken a few of the days, and my daughter asked me, “Mom, is EVERYTHING broken in this hotel?!” There were a couple days that our room didn’t get cleaned, and then a couple days when they did clean, they didn’t restock towels, etc. Location is very convenient to the metro, and food/grocery is nearby, but we were stopped by panhandlers every single time we left the hotel. Also, our room was close to the elevator, which was very noisy all the time. It wasn’t a “terrible” stay, but it wasn’t great either.

This place is a great hotel to see DC from. It’s just around the corner from the Metro but it’s far enough away from the popular sites that there were barely any tourists. It was very quiet and calm. Room was clean and comfortable. 10/10 will stay here every time we come
