Cheap Hotels near Catania (CTA) Airport

Pretty poor walking facilities from the airport. Not very clear how to book the transport from the terminal. Other than that, good staff and rooms were ok. Thank you!

This is a little gem of a hotel. It is situated by the parking for car rentals at Catania aiport so the view is, maybe, not the best in the world. However, the hotel is modern, well apointed, clean and offers a decent breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. We needed an overnight stay before an early flight and this is ideal being only a ten minute walk to or from the terminals. So, if you need an over night for a late arrival or early departure look no further. I would add that room is well sound proofed with little noise from the airport. If you are a light sleeper, a nice touch is that the hotel provides ear plugs in the room.

On pictures it all looks very cute and next to the beach. Luxury? Maybe 30 years ago..when it was last updated. The whole place is very dated, aircon didn’t work and they had to put it on from reception then couldn’t control it in room. Pool was being redecorated. Tried to order room arrive and called reception who cgave me the number.. to the bar.. who gave me The number to the restaurant.. who gave me the number to reception.. who gave me another number .. then they said they would send a bell boy up with menu… then they called 20 min later to tell Me to look on the website… and then they called to chase me Twice.. food arrived and it wasn’t nt bad.. with an extra 15 euro charge to bring to room.. beach is across the road which is why I booked it as well.. a dirty old street and had to walk to this beach club the hotel gave you free sun Bed and towel and parasol… felt like that hasn’t been updated for 30 years either so didn’t bother.. luckily I was only there for 1 night before moving on to Mangia Brucoli for a work summit.. and this Is paradise here.. like being on a set of white lotus! Won’t be coming back that’s for sure.

Very nice and clean room with a small kitchen and wonderful balcony with a view

The bedding needs to be majorly upgraded. Need new linens better pillows a stylish comfortable coverlet and better mattress or mattered pad. It was a very uncomfortable sleep for a quite high priced hotel. Also the shower is terrible with mould and rust and it leaks. Breakfast and location are lovely
