Great check in and breakfast but the beds are very hard and the pillows awful. Choice of firm ie rock hard or soft and very lumpy. Horrible prickly fabric left my face itchy and uncomfortable, consequently didn’t sleep and had an early tunnel train so not a great start to my holiday

Was only a short stay before going on the leshuttle. Just somewhere we needed to put our heads down for awhile. It was really clean both in the room and lobby.

We only stayed one night with a 5:30am start. The check in was extremely easy and I must say Cameron went out his way to be pleasant to everyone. Jo in the restaurant was also very good and pleasant nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff and the hotel and management should be very proud of them.

First, the staff were all excellent. The evening meal was mediocre but the breakfast choice was good. However the whole experience was ruined by the reception area being more like Crufts than a hotel.

Hotel quite tired. It was “ok” and serviceable. Walls were very thin so noise from corridors and next room. Parking charges were a surprise and frustrating, wouldn’t expect them for a holiday inn, and it’s not exactly a city centre location. No signage to indicate you can validate in reception for a discount just big signs prompting to pay immediately. I got blocked in the morning by a delivery driver. Breakfast wasn’t great. Usually expect holiday inn express to be a bit above other similar band hotels but this time it wasn’t great. Staff were friendly enough.

Great place for access to the shuttle, staff were very welcoming and I think it’s the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed at ! Only negative was it was quite noisy, we were close to the lift and just above reception.

Quiet room. Tv didn’t work but staff changed it when we reported it. Restaurant ok. Offered what we needed. Clean room, pleasant staff and close to the Chunnel.
