The house is essentially brand new. Very clean and in great shape. Could use a couple extras to make the stay better (like a sponge, salt/pepper). Our issue was with the communication. We asked the host a few days prior to our stay if the grill was gas? The response was look at the pictures and bring your own charcoal and a lighter. Sorry, I bothered you. On check in day she completely ghosted us. Not sure why but the host didn't like to communicate with VRBO. She chose to send information via email. Well, my service provider labeled her emails suspicious and chances a hacker was trying to access our system and it went to my spam folder. So the day of our arrival I reached out to the host for entry instructions. I sent a text within the VRBO app and called texted her from both my wife's and my cell phones (we were in Foley and didn't have entry instructions). We finally called VRBO and they were able to get a hold of her. So we received the entry code a few minutes before 5:30 (1 hour thirty minutes after check in time). We were to get an email the day of and that never showed. We had an issue with the washing machine (it didn't work). So, we reached out to the host again. 16 hours later we got a response "did you close the lid?". I completely understand that a repairman couldn't be called out on a Saturday night and we were checking out the very next morning. But 16 hours? we finally got a response today after we checked out about trying a circuit br.
