My issue with this place is that I asked for a simple breakdown of my cost after I stayed with them (asked twice), and they just didn't respond. I believe they charged me extra for the shuttle when I only took it one way. Would stick with one of the other 2 lodges in Tikal.

A diamond in the jungle

I can’t say enough about this amazing location. I arranged the shuttle for $25 USD for round trip transportation and had to adjust the time due to a late arrival and they were very accommodating. It is within walking distance to Tikal which is very convenient especially after a long day of exploring. The staff were amazing and very helpful. The restaurant, bar and pool onsite are all exceptional. I used the shared bathrooms and showers and they were constantly attended to and very clean. Superb jungle accommodation

We spend 2 nights in hostal part of jungle lodge hotel Even that location is in the middle of a jungle we didnt experienced anything in terms of mosquito's or other insects Grounds and common areas were kept clean and immaculate Friendly stuff Great delicious food at the hotel restaurant Lots of tours offered like sunset ,sunrise and archeological among many others Lots of birds to watch and ither friendly wildlife. Highly recomend

it was a great experience being in the middle of the jungle and yet feel safe! Loved the spider monkeys and the hawker monkeys! Staff was cordial and very nice!
