Communication moved outside of the hotels app

The location was great. The apartment needs some updating and the kitchen is ill-equipped so not that functional. My main concern was the fact that communication moved off the app. I should have cancelled the booking as soon as that started but it was already paid for. An intake form is required 24 hours before check in through a separate portal where you must provide your CC. It was too late for us to cancel at that point.

Hot apartment with old furniture

Air conditioning didn’t work in bedroom. Making sleeping very difficult. Upstairs room for our daughter was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Could not sleep there. Furniture is really bad. Old couch that has huge hole. And two tiny chairs. Freezer broken and could not get microwave to work. Had to bring our trash two blocks away. Great location but old tired place. Not for faint of heart on 4th floor. There is an elevator.

Before we actually saw the location of the flat, we were wary about being south of the river, but it was actually the perfect location for us. It was walking distance to everything but away from the crowds, which made it quieter. The elevator, albeit small, was very convenient so we didn't have to walk up all the stairs (the unit is on the top 4th floor) with all our luggage. The extra loft bed area was perfect for our daughter who wanted her own space, though the bottom 2 steps to it were a bit unsteady. One neighbor was rude/made rude comments and followed us to the top floor where the flat is located just to watch where we were going and then went back down the elevator. Overall, we were very satisfied.
