The property listing did not mention the absence of air conditioning, and I didn’t think to double check the amenities in advance. Unfortunately, the space felt very bare-bones, with minimal comforts (no espresso machine). Street noise and heat made it difficult to sleep, and with only one fan for our family of five, the night was uncomfortable. I also woke up with multiple mosquito bites. Several pieces of furniture appeared worn, dishes are cracked, chipped and in need of updating. Note: there are several flights of steep stairs to climb with your luggage. That said, the host was incredibly kind, he generously allowed us to drop off our bags early and patiently waited for us despite traffic delays, which we really appreciated. We were very disappointed with the quality of this accommodation. The photos were deceiving.

There was no hot water. Sove did not work. They said they would give us a refund, but then never did. They then said to file a claim with Hotels.com for a refund. Don't know where to do that.

The apartment is very shabby and has foul odors. The entire apartment smells of sewer gas. One of the bedrooms smelled of vomit and old sweat. There were smashed mosquitoes on the walls. Holes in the walls, dust on the lighting fixtures, stains on the sofa, dirty cutting board. The air is very stale. There is no air conditioning, just an assortment of old fans. Florence gets very hot and muggy. It is VERY loud if you open the windows, and mosquitoes come in. There are unsightly objects, such as cleaning supplies, old rag mop, and random junk about the place. The lamp shades were crooked, and one had what appeared to be a blood stain on it. These unsightly spaces and objects are not shown in the advertisement photographs. I had reserved for three nights, but ended up not even staying one night. I could not bear to be in this place. I changed my flight, losing the last two days of my vacation and sight-seeing in Florence. (At such short notice, all other available hotels were way out of my price range.) I left the apartment at 9pm, and went to stay in the airport until my 6:30am flight.

Nice location

The location was great, close to all amenities and was easy to find. The apartment is in need of some t.l.c. Although the kitchen is modern some appliances could make the stay more convenient ex. A kettle, microwave oven. The apartment is noisy is the early mornings due to restaurants below. Watch out for the €60 cleaning fee in the fine print

Close to everything. Should be sure to tell people it is a walk up 3 steep flights of stairs. There was no adapter for the washing machine ,we did have our own. I think there should be a book to outline information that could be in a binder. The example would be a translation of the cleaning products ,how to use the washing machine . Where the trash recepticles are . The man told us quickly when he gave us the keys but a book would be wonderful for a reference with emergency phone numbers.

Lugar bueno pero puede mejorar

Tiene una ubicación increíble, las camas son cómodas y las instalaciones están bien, pero les sugeriría tener un sartén, dar mantenimiento a ventiladores, el refrigerador no sirve y sería bueno que en la cocina tuvieran sal, vinagre, aceite, como lo necesario para poder cocinar; también unos trapos para limpiar la cocina y secar los traste.
