was ok if you are looking for a decent and affordable place to stay within 11 mins. walking distance from Florence duomo. Basically 12 rooms occupying the second level of the building. The building looks old but the room is clean and bathroom is clean and renovated. You can hear all the noise of the next room and the room above. The staff is friendly and excellent, can speak english as well.

I absolutely loved that Guest House Morandi is only a five minutes walk to the Duomo where one has a multitude of choices of restaurants and cafes. Dario welcomed me as though I were family, inferring a map and a multitude of suggestions re restaurants. He is always at the ready at the lounge to serve his guests a coffee first thing in the morning . I highly recommend this oasis of charm and hospitality . Grazie mille Dario! Rita C

I had the most fabulous stay here! From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff treated me with so much kindness! it truly shows how much they care about their guests. Dario, in particular, was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and made me feel right at home. The location couldn’t be better! nothing was more than a short 15–20 minute walk away, and our favorite spots were all close by, with bus stops conveniently nearby as well. I honestly wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I come back to Florence. This place is a gem!

Fantastic hospitality and advice from the host Dario. We felt very welcomed since the beginning of our stay. The room had a very cute charm with great amenities including free water and coffee. Very close and walkable to major tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely for a city break

Lovely guest house, right in the heart of Florence. Perfect for a city break, within a few minutes walk from major sights. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was a good size and decorated in a traditional Florentine style.

Dario and Katrina were fabulous hosts. They were knowledgeable of the area and were helpful with suggestions of places to eat and acquire things. They both made us feel welcome. We would definitely stay again. The 4 stars only represent a few foibles. A slow draining shower was noted rooms were a bit warm. The anti USA graffiti on the building across was a reminder of the state of world affairs
