Nice Hotel in a Convenient Location

We enjoyed our two night stay in this historic building. The location is in a very convenient location to access the train and walk to all the historic sites. There are a variety of good restaurants and bars on this street. The desk staff, especially Alex(?) is courteous and helpful. The room and bed are comfortable, bathroom plenty spacious. This hotel has no elevator but we had no problem carrying our bags up to the third floor. The price was very reasonable for the location. We would stay here again.

We could not park anywhere close to the hotel! This makes absolutely no sense to visitors from another country, There was no heads up at all about this! The gentleman at the front desk stopped everything he was doing to help us and he was great! He went above and beyond for us. It’s too bad he has to deal with this nonsense.

Great quiet location within easy walking distance from the train station and to all the major tourist locations within Florence. Friendly staff and nice breakfast with a wide variety of food options. We took advantage of the laundry service and they did a nice job on the clothes; returning them clean and folded. You do need to climb three flights of shallow stairs to reach the front desk, but what are a few more stairs in Italy? Would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and quiet. The location was perfect, very close to the Duomo, and walkable to all main attraction areas. The breakfast was amazing with several pastry selections, great coffee and much more. I totally recommend it! Everyone was very kind and helpful!

We really enjoyed our stay here! We only stayed one night but we surely enjoyed it. It is conveniently close to the train station and many shops. The staff was nice, friendly, and helpful as well. Everything was clean and the complementary breakfast was delicious. Please note that the lobby is on the second floor and all rooms above it. There is not a lift/elevator, this might be a difficulty for people with physical disabilities. Otherwise, I would totally recommend this hotel for all!

The property is in the heart of the old city and close to literally everything. You walk out of the hotel and there are restaurants everywhere. I loved the restaurant right next to the hotel, Trattoria Antellesi! The breakfast at the hotel was also very good with lots of good options. I would recommend the hotel, although I think it's a bit expensive.

Wonderful staff.

Our stay was marvelous, even though there is no elevator. The staff was absolutely wonderful, helpful, friendly and informative. Allessandro and Tea helped us plan tours, suggested good restaurants in the area and made us feel very welcome. The San Lorenzo area is just a few steps from the train station and the Duomo. We would definitely return!
