The apartment was not cleaned when we arrived and when we asked for a cleaner, we were promised one who did not show up throughout our entire stay. We had issues with the temperature of the water in the shower (it was either too hot or too cold - no in between). Our bedding and blankets were unclean.

A very comfortable stay.

The apartment is well presented, comfortable and well equipped. The roof terrace is lovely. We enjoyed the views, the Jacuzzi and the loungers. Eating out meals on the roof terrace was memorable. The apartment is located in a convenient spot for the beach and all that the resort has to offer, but is in a quiet street. The parking is secure and the building are secure and monitored. Flick an Flac is a tourist resort so there are tourist shops, beach good stalls, restaurants and bars and a local supermarket. The beach is long and the sand lovely. It can be busy with families at the weekends when the beach experience is lively with families playing music, dancing and sharing meals. We enjoyed experiencing the local, festive atmosphere. Morning swims and walks are peaceful as are evenings watching the sunset. Flic en Flac is well located for visits to Port Louis and the West coast of Mauritius. We recommend La Preneuse beach for a quiet beach experience. We can also recommend Quatre Borne market on Sundays which is lively with traders selling clothes, local crafts and take away food.

Umgebung als Touristen"hochburg" Flic en Flac eher enttäuschend - das bekomme ich auch auf Balearen oder Kanaren.
