Loved this place! It was quirky and unique and in a great location! Staff was always friendly and helpful, amenities were great! I’d definitely stay here again! The disco ball in the room was so fun and loved the evenings by the fire pit after a long day of adventures!

Nice hotel, room choice was misleading

We mostly enjoyed our stay at the Americana. The look of the hotel was nice. The outdoor fire pit area was a great place to relax and enjoy the weather. However, we did find some things that were misleading. We booked the mid sized Queen room, rather than the mini full sized room. Our bed was definitely a full sized bed, not a queen bed. I brought it up with the front desk and was just told that the room was “listed as a queen.” In that way, I felt cheated, like I overpaid for the room. The other thing was the hours for the Bajamar restaurant were posted 9am-9pm daily. It closed on Sunday at 4pm and never reopened before we left on Tuesday at 11am. It was a bummer because I was excited to try it for at least one of our meals during our 2-day stay. We come to Flagstaff often, but I’m not sure if I would stay here again.

Definitely fulfilled our retro Route 66 fix. The pool was warm and the games were fun. When packing up to leave, we accidentally left our hotel keys in the room and the door closed, and although it was before the office opened at 8am, staff was able to help us out. A great stay

Great stay 100% would recommend

We loved this place, they really did a great job with the updated retro vibe. Our stay was great, and we have already recommended this hotel to several people. We were traveling with our dog and loved the fully fenced in off leash area as well as making use of several of the outdoor tables. The only complaint I would give was the hours of the little restaurant on site don’t seem accurate, we only saw lights on indicating that it open once during our entire 5 night stay.

My partner and I visited this hotel for a quick get-away from the Phoenix heat. I’m so glad that I found this charming hotel online. We were originally going to go with a cheap motel, but a room here was only about $20 more for a MUCH better experience! The room decor had so much personality, and the staff was wonderful. They had a fire pit area that we used to look at the stars that night, and bikes for guests to use. There was also a very nice pool that we didn’t have time to use, but it looked very clean and well-maintained. I think we’ll plan on staying here every time from now on! The staff seemed to really care about the business :)
