Come play on our Ranch! Quail Meadows’ 32+ acres of land, with spectacular views, gives you endless areas to explore. Enjoy a 5-star quality Custom Built Log Home that boasts gorgeous use of hardwood floors, a huge Quartzite kitchen island, and artisan stonework. Our 6 bedroom, 4 bath, home features: a large game room w/ pool table, dining room, a “screen room” to watch your favorite movies or just relax, a reading nook for those quiet moments, LED TVs with streaming video in many of the rooms, forced air heating and air conditioning throughout, outdoor spacious patios, built-in BBQ, ping pong table & corn hole, sitting areas with chaise lounges, perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the spectacular views. Beyond the patios are a pool, huge hot tub, gas fire pit, horseshoes, a pond, and acres and acres of places to explore or just run around. Pool, hot tub, and fire pit are new and do not show in all the photos. And don’t forget to have some fun in the “Hangar” across the property, where you can shoot some hoops, play shuffleboard, or maybe a little hopscotch or 4square. When supper is ready, ring the dinner bell, and bring the whole crew in to share your adventures over a relaxing meal.

The kitchen is well-equipped and offers a convenient eating bar, so the chef never feels left out. The outdoor tables are enough for the whole group. The formal indoor dining area comfortably seats 10.

Year-round you can visit the local historic towns for shopping and dining, local breweries, and many wineries, play endless games on the 32+ acres, soak in the hot tub, lounge on the large patios taking in the pond and surrounding views, and you will thoroughly enjoy watching the local wildlife of quail, geese, ducks, a family of deer and numerous other critters that call Quail Meadows Ranch their home.

In the summertime, add watching your family and friends swim in the pool or out to the floating platform in the pond, cruising over to the river for a picnic or a dip, or just lounging in the sun. In Winter, add skiing or snowboarding at Kirkwood, or lounging by the fire. Create your adventure year-round!

As in all licensed vacation rentals in El Dorado County, noise levels must not disrupt the neighborhood. This is a wonderfully tranquil setting, so please remember that music and sound levels should not be audible beyond the property lines at any time. This includes sound levels during lawn play or court activities in the hanger area. Strict quiet hours set by the county are from 10 pm- 8 am. During quiet hours all large gatherings must be moved inside the home.

Fantastic property

This is such a wonderful property for a large group! The layout is perfect, there is a ton of space, super cozy, and extremely well stocked (and organized!) with anything that you could possibly need. It is clear that the owner has put a lot of time and thought into this property, and we were very appreciative that they are doing such an impressive job of maintaining the home and keeping it nice (despite being a rental property for large groups). The property manager was awesome and immediately responsive to any questions or needs that we had during our stay; super professional. Highly recommend this place to any large groups and all ages!

Absolutely beautiful property and amazing activities

This was hands down one of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever stayed out, with an absolutely gorgeous interior and exterior, perfect for large groups. The activities and amenities were amazing. Crystal clear communication with the rental owner, and amazing customer service (we left a few items and they offered to ship them back to us). The kitchen was easily the most impressive one I’ve ever seen, and actually had sharp knives (something that I have pretty much never had at rentals). We will absolutely love to come back in the summer!

This property was absolutely stunning! We did have a few issues with electronic related stuff but the property manager was super responsive and helpful. The bedrooms are spacious and there is plenty of room inside to have fun if the outdoors aren't accessible due to weather. The outdoors however are just spectacular! The pond was loaded with frogs the kids were having so much fun catching and the pool and hot tub were super spacious. I loved hopping in the hot tub in the morning and enjoying the views while sipping on my coffee. It was such a relaxing weekend and I hope to visit again soon.

Great getaway

Our family loved our stay! The house is amazing and huge! There was so much to do on the property The outside does have a lot of the natural vegetation, which includes some stickers and burrs but we were careful to check the dog throughout the day and would recommend some kind of shoe to go out to the pool. We walked down to the river and it was amazingly overgrown with blackberries. We had several deer visit the property during our stay. We would definitely stay again. Very relaxing trip and opportunity to reconnect with family.

We recently stayed at Quail Meadows to celebrate 10 years in business. My employees and their families had an amazing time! So much for everyone to do and such a beautiful property. The house was beautifully done and we had everything we needed. The porch areas were perfect for hanging out and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We all wanted to stay!

Excellent place

Our family stayed here during Father's Day weekend and we loved every moment of it. Owner was very responsive for issues and questions. This place had so many things to do that we wished we had more time. Owner kept the place very clean and well stocked. They had almost anything you could imagine. The kids loved the pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. There were plenty of pool towels for every day which was appreciated. The morning scenary was such a wonderful sight while sipping coffee outside. There was also a separate area for basketball, darts, chess, etc. and we enjoyed it as well. Definitely a lot of things to enjoy which we will definitely come back again. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place!

Wow! Wow! Wow!

Quail Meadows Ranch exceeded our expectations! The house and property were stunning. There was so much to do and see. We especially loved cooking in the kitchen and we all took note that it was equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the big fireplace during our rainy stay. Fabulous vacation!

Our recent trip to Quail Meadow Ranch was an excellent opportunity to relax and connect with family. During our stay, we were amazed with the plethora of activities available. The pictures didn’t begin to show the beauty of the house. It was an amazing house with lots of room for a larger family to spread out. The owner has thought about all the details to make your trip, enjoyable, right down to conditioner and shampoo in the shower along with a fully stocked kitchen with spices, oil, plastic wrap, and everything you could imagine to cook your meals. Our kids loved the hanger, and it was a great spot for them to migrate to during the day to enjoy darts, soccer, shuffleboard, basketball, and more. For adults, the place really has a serene location And I would be remiss if I did not mention the absolutely amazing and huge hot tub!!! We had the best time at Quail Meadows. We were amazed when we got there, the pictures online did not do justice to how nice everything really was. From the towels and linens to the kitchen equipment, everything was top notch. The family is already asking when we can go back!

Thanksgiving Family Reunion

Wonderful home, fully stocked, and property. Large house with enough for everyone to do what they wanted without imposing on others in the group, e.g., sports on one tv while others could watch whatever on another tv, pool table upstairs, along with games so nobody downstairs was disturbed. Seven bedrooms so everyone could have privacy if desired. Huge kitchen allowed many cooks to prepare Thanksgiving dinner without a hitch. Overall, a wonderful place to rent!

We'd love to go back!

This is a unique home & property. It really is an experience with so many entertaining options inside and out! We stayed here with our family (11 Adults & 1 Child) as a "home base" for a family wedding being held at a venue 5 miles away. So, between wedding venue set up on Fri, Wedding on Sat, tear down at venue on Sun and checking out of this VRBO on Monday at 10am, we sadly spent very little time at the house. We were exhausted from wedding festivities so late nights and indoor activities also didn't happen for us. With that being said, none of us wanted to leave and all wished we could come back and stay a good 4-5 days so we could really enjoy all this home has to offer! Given nothing is perfect, I would say to "light sleepers" that this home does echo due to all the solid surfaces. You do hear every footstep in the hallways. We slept in downstairs bedroom(s) and could also hear every footstep happening upstairs while people walked in their rooms. This home would make a great home base for a Wine Tasting weekend as well. So many wineries close by. Awesome for large families, extended family gatherings and friends. A ton of seating options outside, great pool, gas firepit, and the huge spa is an amazing feature. Inside pool table & TV room, outside you have ping/pong, corn hole, horseshoes and in hanger building you have basketball, floor chess, darts and so much more. The other reviews are all true too. Don't hesitate, book this great home now!

Wonderful place to stay

What a great place to stay! Compared to other places I have stayed, this home was unique in that it had every single thing we needed to call it home. Each room had an alarm clock with charging outlets, TV, nightstand and walk in closet, and each bathroom had plenty of towels, blow dryers, soap and shampoo, etc. I have found that many homes on this platform will say they sleep over a dozen guests but in reality it's 3-4 rooms with double bunk beds and then everyone is stepping on each other in the mornings when they are getting ready...not this place! Plenty of room for all. For those who like cooking, the kitchen is amazing. They had just about every utensil, baking pan, and knife that we could have needed to cook all our meals and make muffins for the kids. Only thing I saw missing was a standup mixer and a waffle maker but I can't really consider that a complaint as most places don't have those provided. Also, for those of you who are worried about going somewhere remote, this place has a full solar setup with enough backup batteries to run the house for at least a few days....very comforting to see that when I have kids. There is also a Tesla charger! Tons of open space, games for the kids, pool and hot tub...so much to do. Anyone with kids who like the outdoors or just want to escape for a few days, this is the place to be!

This property and house are everything you need for a family vacation. My sisters and I brought the whole family: spouses, parents, and 4 kids from 5-15. No one got bored with all the games and activities. The tranquil setting is perfect for hitting the reset button. If you go definitely take some time to star gaze- it was magical. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you need for cooking. Not to mention that the house itself is just beautifully detailed and laid out. Managed to make a large space feel cozy. The only thing I would fault the property for is the beds are not comfortable but I’d bring my own air mattress next time just to stay here again. Thanks to the fabulous hosts!

elegant , spacious home

The house was very spacious for the whole family of 19. (especially the kitchen.) It is an elegant and well appointed luxurious log cabin. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen as most of us like to cooke. Eating outdoors was terrific for dinner. The hot summer day cooled off by then and the setting was serene, spacious and beautiful. The hot tub /spa was very large and the swimming pool was wonderful that they had the umbrella in the shallow end. Minor complaint but annoying: a second sink and another dishwasher would have helped our big group. Since we had to wash by hand we needed more dish towels and there were only three. Also there was only one sponge and only a few rolls of paper towel Easy to remedy by purchasing ourselves. Really not an issue but inconvenient.

Fantastic family getaway

We love this property. It is all-inclusive…during your stay you never have to leave if you didn’t want to!!! It’s so spacious and the beautiful home fits in the landscape and had everything we needed! The pool and spa during the day and stargazing at night was spectacular.
