Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Sie ist nahe an der Natur. Oliven-, Maulbeerbäume und Oleander sowie fazinierende Steinfunde prägen das Gelände ringsum. Die Wohnung ist großzügig ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Erwähnenswert ist die Nähe zu interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten und zu den herrlichen Stränden Kretas. Dankbar erlebten wir die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter und genossen die deutschsprachige Konversation.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in einem sehr schönen Garten

Wir waren als Familie zu viert in der Wohnung und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einer Küche, in der man gerne sitzt, gab es viel Platz. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und vermittelt ein Gefühl von "zuhause sein". Bei der Hitze war auch wichtig, dass es Klimaanlagen nicht nur in den Schlafzimmern sondern auch in der Küche gab. Der liebevoll vom Besitzer angelegte Garten macht den Ort zu einer Oase in der trockenen kretischen Sommerlandschaft. Vorteilhaft ist die üppige Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Garten. Die Zufahrt ist problemlos. Womit wir nicht gerechnet hatten, sind mehrere gute Restaurants in dem kleinen Dorf. Wenn man mal keine Lust mehr hat, wegzugehen oder der Autofahrer mal etwas trinken möchte - geht sehr gut zu Fuß. Ganz besonders haben wir uns über den herzlichen Empfang durch den Besitzer, Manolis, gefreut, der auch zu später Stunde auf uns wartete. Während unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wir fast das Gefühl, dort ganz alleine zu wohnen, obwohl Manolis im gleichen Haus wohnt. Hätten wir ihn gebraucht, wäre er aber immer verfügbar gewesen. Und schließlich war die Vermittlung von Informationen und Unterlagen durch die deutschsprachige Frau Woitke toll, die immer sofort und ausführlich auf unsere Fragen antwortete.

Wunderschönes Fleckchen Erde

Fernab von allem touristischen Trubel konnten wir in der gemütlichen Wohnung und dem wunderschönen Garten entspannt die Tage genießen. Zum Meer war es nicht weit und auch die nächste Stadt mit allem Nötigen für den täglichen Bedarf war gut erreichbar. Es ist definitiv einen Aufenthalt wert und wir werden bestimmt mal wieder kommen.
