No thanks!!!

Check in was ok. The place did not look like the picture online. Thought we’d give it a try because we’d already paid. Got to room, it smelled bad like mold, our kids could reach the window. The window would not lock. Constant construction in the room next door. The room itself was gross enough to leave. The whole place gave off creepy vibes. We decided to leave and take the small loss of what we paid.

The price was good. Our room was on the 3rd floor and no elevator. We had to carry several heavy suitcases up and down stairs. The floor was covered in water where the room refrigerator had frozen then thawed.

Uncomfortable stay

Room had an odor to the point I had to purchase a febreeze plug in just to make the stay tolerable. There was old pizza left between the desk and refrigerator and something questionable on the walls. The AC unit was weak and could not keep up with the heat. Overall will not be staying at another Econ Lodge. Very uncomfortable stay.

Comfortable Room

The room that we were in was good, comfortable, and quiet. What I didn't particularly like is that our room was below street level. This made the room seem less that cheery and bright. This is our second visit to this hotel and we were on the same hall, below street level. Is it because we have a miniature dauchound. For these reasons I cannot give a 5 star rating.

A much older hotel, limited breakfast offerings.

Con: I was a little skeptical about how safe the hotel was. Had someone pretending to be Door Dash knock on my hotel room. The only chair in the room had a broken wheel that came off if you moved the chair. The breakfast had very limited offerings. 99% carbs, the only protein was in the form of oatmeal packets. If I hadn't had other family staying in the same hotel I probably would not of stayed the entire time I had it booked. Looked like they were trying to upgrade the hotel, there was boxes of flooring stacked in the handicap ramp. Pro: The maid service was excellent. My bed was made and fresh towel were provided each day.
