Restaurant had good service but the kitchen is either lazy or don’t care very difficult for my wife as we asked for a ground floor but had to go up two flights of stairs to get to our room but there’s no bellboy made it difficult

The property is very dated. An update is overdue. The hot pool that is exclusive to hotel guests is not very big, and only one temperature setting. The big pool that is open to the public has multiple sub-pools at different temperatures, but it was VERY busy, so much so that you can call it overcrowded.

I don’t know where to begin. I want to give a better review, but I can’t. This property is very dated. The staff was very nice, but as a person with mobility issues, I really do recommend accessibility upgrades. The hot springs pool is wonderful (separate pool for resort guests is a bonus). The little things like the robe to wear to the pool were appreciated.

our room was sew outdated smelled like cigarettes and old barroom every thing about it form the curtains to the cupboards to the furniture being all scratched up,,, it was a 1-2 star rating in my opinion very bad and made me very sad to pay all that money for what i thought was a 5 star resort.. i know i paid for the scenery and atmosphere, but this put us off right away... shook it off the next day because we came to visit family and i was letting the resort take that away from us. we have stayed in 3 other fairmounts and nothing like this ,,, we wont be back

July 4-6, 2025. We had a very disappointing experience for our wedding anniversary here. First, my request for the room was ignored - okay, fine. But really, it felt like the staff really couldn’t care less for their guests. I voiced my concerns at the onset of our weekend and again at checkout, and they didn’t even offer any apologies. The complex itself is quite outdated and not kept, but the rooms are terribly in need of updating. There was dirt on the walls, hair in the sheets, air return registers were filthy. Construction outside to create a deck, while necessary, was loud and totally took away from the serenity of being in the hot pools (literally steps away right beside the guest only pool). I wish I could attach the photos I took. While once a treat to come here, now grossly overpriced for what you’re getting.
